Our meadow in Friedrichshafen-Schnetzenhausen is the ideal overnight accommodation for self-sufficient campers and a perfect starting point for exploring the Lake Constance region. Last-minute bookings are also no problem.
The meadow offers a level, natural surface in a quiet location on the edge of a residential area with a view of Lake Constance apple trees. Just 3 km away, in the "Alter Campingplatz" leisure area, there are great swimming opportunities, a beach café with SUP rental and barbecue areas. The Fischbach lake and open-air swimming pool is also nearby and charges apply.
The region offers a diverse landscape, ideal for cyclists and hikers with numerous places to stop for refreshments.
The Hotel/Restaurant Krone (food, mini golf, tennis, bowling, billiards, bike hire) and the "Old Pub" are just a few minutes' walk away. A bakery for fresh bread rolls and a wine bar ("Vintage 1989" - wine tasting possible!) are also nearby. The nearest large supermarket is 1.9 km away.
The meadow is regularly mowed, is easily accessible via the main road and offers some wind protection due to a high hedge to the south-east. One pitch is at least 8x9m in size.
We attach great importance to an uncomplicated process and strive to ensure that all guests can arrive and depart without further assistance. Please understand that an apple orchard does not get by without maintenance, so you may sometimes see a small tractor during the day.

There are various offers for horseback riding in the region.

There are several miniature golf courses in Friedrichshafen, Immenstaad, Hagnau and Langenargen. There is also a SwinGolf facility in Deggenhausertal.
Surfing
Wind- and kitesurfing is basically possible on Lake Constance with a permit from the Schiffartsamt. The nearest spot is 3km away in Fischbach.
Wine tasting

Cycling

SUP rental, barbecue facilities and a free sunbathing lawn with sun and shade areas only 3km away at the recreational area "Alter Campingplatz". Also the fee-paying lake and open-air swimming pool Fischbach is right next door. (Attention the parking lot there has a 2.1m height restriction).
Beach vacation
To the right of the recreational area "Alter Campingplatz", which is 3km away, there is a natural sandy beach, which is very rare for Lake Constance.
Hiking
Playing by the water
Those who want to go to the lake will find great swimming opportunities, a beach café incl. SUP rental, barbecue facilities and a free sunbathing lawn with sun and shade areas only 3km away at the recreational area "Alter Campingplatz". The lake and open-air swimming pool Fischbach, for which a fee is charged, is also right next door.
Kayaking, canoeing
Stand-up paddling is allowed on Lake Constance, 3km away. If the water level is suitable, a kayak tour on the Schussen is also possible. Entry e.g. in Kehlen.
MTB
There are some mountain bike trails in the region, e.g. at Gehrenberg.
Tennis
In the immediate vicinity (250m walk), the Hotel Krone offers a tennis court, which can be booked online on the hotel website.
