Iglucraft at the Wendland Nature Park near the Elbe

Visit us for a break in our trailer in this great area between Lüneburg, the Elbe and the Wendland! The site is right next to the Wendland Elbe Nature Park and the Lower Saxony Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve is just around the corner.

The comfortably furnished igloo craft of 18 square meters is elevated on a chassis in a clearing right on the edge of the forest, you are here all to yourself, but within shouting distance of the main house! You look out over a meadow that is gradually developing into a biotope. There is only one neighboring property, and you would have to shout very loudly to be heard.

Unfortunately, dogs are not compatible because of the farm dog.

Lazing in bed with a view through the round window, cycling or canoeing, hiking in the forest right next door, starry walks in the Elbe floodplain on the dyke or in the heath, swimming in the small sandy bays on the Elbe, watching beekeepers or picking mushrooms. There is a lot of culture - the Wendland is just around the corner, and the villages in the immediate vicinity are also moulting, cafés, a winery, an art association, a cultural farm with concerts, a few nice restaurants, organic farms and farm stores.

Many forest and meadow animals and plants are your neighbors, the property is completely accessible on mowed paths, we are looking for nature-loving people with an interest in the little things and events, there is so much to discover!

This is not the only reason why the igloo is ideal for people who are not afraid of tall grass and buzzing insects. The construction trailer is equipped with thick fly screens. Two people who are close to each other can sleep comfortably in the 1.60 wide bunk bed.

It is 25 minutes to Lüneburg and one hour to HH with free travel. If you arrive by train, the best way to get there is by bike + bus.

The igloo has its own mini-bathroom with hot water, shower and composting toilet.

The small kitchenette has a fridge, two hobs and everything else you need for cooking. A small semi-automatic coffee machine/strainer makes a decent espresso. There is electricity and fiber optic internet.

Depending on the time of year and the weather, you can have breakfast inside or outside, and enjoy the sunset at the edge of the property in the evening. At night, the stars twinkle in the truly total darkness, with only the moon illuminating the place in its usual cycle.

The forest rustles vigorously in the wind and the nearby wind turbines can also be heard! There is agriculture! Sowing, harvesting, tractors in spring and fall. But often there is also: nothing.

Smoking is allowed on the terrace. Smoking is prohibited in the igloo itself and on the property.

The igloo is located on the grounds of an old and half-renovated Lower Saxon servants' house. At the front of the driveway you can still see evidence of the building site near the main house that was completed last year, things like BigBags, scaffolding parts and IBC tanks. The rest of the plot, 2.3h, is green and untouched.

Every season has something to offer, a mobile barrel sauna on wheels can be booked (please check availability in advance, info below).
