Idyllic meadow in the Itzgrund in Upper Franconia

Spend the night in the golden village of Mürsbach!

Your spot is located on a huge mown meadow at the end of the village (30 km/h zone). The stream that gave the village its name meanders directly along the lower end of the meadow. (it is currently not possible to get directly to the stream)

From here you can visit the village center with its historic half-timbered houses and 3 Franconian restaurants with beautiful beer gardens. The site is ideal for day trips to Bamberg, Staffelstein, Coburg, Banz Abbey or Vierzehnheiligen, and there are well-developed cycle paths for cycling tours. The region is known for its numerous small breweries! There are beautiful hiking trails right next to the meadow, past fields and small forests.

In the village center there is also a 24/7 vending machine with regional specialties.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

The meadow is located on a slight slope, so wedges are recommended. The flattest parts are towards the road or at the bottom.

The ground can get muddy if it rains a lot!

The site is only suitable for self-sufficient campers and you must have your own toilet!
