A minimalist retreat in the middle of the woods, but only a 6-minute drive from the sea, on the beautiful Gulf of Baratti.
This cozy house is simple but fully equipped-a true retreat for nature lovers.
You can enjoy the outdoor table under the trees, overlooking the sea through the oak trees of the Baratti nature reserve.
The house includes:
a kitchen with gas stove, oven, refrigerator, kettle and toaster (no microwave),
one bedrooms, with its own bathroom and its own private entrance.
two bathrooms in the house and my favorite: the outdoor shower in the forest. Surrounded by more than 2,000 trees, this house is literally in the middle of the forest.
The path to the house is a short but steep dirt road with some bumps, easy to walk or drive.
There is a private parking lot at the bottom of the slope; from there you walk 20 meters uphill through the trees to reach the house.
The property is fully fenced, but since it is a nature reserve, you may see a fox or other forest animals pass by.
If you love silence, forest, sea breeze and a touch of wild charm, this is your dream vacation.

Susanna's cottage is a haven of peace and nature surrounded by many nice places to visit. We had a wonderful time and really relaxed. Susanna is an excellent hostess.
A dreamlike little house that gives you security and goodwill as soon as you enter. gives . A little away from tourism and the hustle and bustle , in the middle of nature , yet quickly accessible by car everything . Enchanting with a pinch of adventure ;)) Cozy / lovingly / tastefully furnished. My personal favorite: the outdoor shower !
