  • A beautiful spot with fruit trees near the Danube, very well maintained

  • Everything went great. Communication was excellent. The location is good. It was easy to find using the GPS.

  • As the saying goes: “All good things come in threes!” We wanted to visit friends in the Altmühl Valley near Riedenburg. As we were heading toward the aforementioned campsite, the car’s alternator “gave out,” and we had to wait a few days for replacement parts. During “Round Two,” temperatures stayed at “tropical levels” (> 20 degrees) for several nights and exceeded 37 degrees during the day. Without air conditioning in the RV—it was practically unbearable!—so we cut our trip short and postponed our plans. We hope that someday, in “Round 3,” we’ll get to meet our host 😄 The host, Rainer, was very communicative, supportive, and friendly during both incidents—the breakdown and the cancellation… P.S.: “Hinterland” asked for this review since our first attempt to arrive was still listed as “booked”…

  • Good communication, but unfortunately the place wasn't as quiet as we had imagined.

  • Nice big pitch, freshly mown and beautifully maintained! It was great to spend time there with the kids. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again.
