We offer a pitch for a van or similar vehicle and a tent pitch. A very small caravan, such as an Eriba, would also work. Unfortunately, the pitch is not suitable for motorhomes as the driveway is too narrow.

The pitch is located in "Uschi's garden", quiet, but in the middle of the old town of Quakenbrück. You are alone in Uschi's garden, as the house is not inhabited.

There is a listed building on the grounds. The new bathroom is also located here. A fridge can be provided.

Supermarket, restaurants, cinema, theater workshop, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, city museum, café, within walking distance.

From the location you can go on wonderful bike tours and discover the old, numerous half-timbered houses.

This natural setting awaits you

  • In a meadow

    In a meadow

The pitch is located in "Uschi's garden", more like a meadow. Flowers and shrubs grow here and "weeds" are also allowed to grow.

What this place offers

Basics

  • Toilet

    4€ per night

  • Electricity

    3€ per stay

  • Shower

    4€ per night

  • Water

  • Campfire allowed

Campfires are only permitted in our own fire basket. Please be careful with this, as we are in the middle of the old town and the pitch is next to a listed building, probably from 1462.

  • Firewood

There is still enough available at the moment. :)

  • Barbecue allowed

  • Public transport

The train station is within walking distance. The "Moobil bus" also works.

  • Wheelchair accessible

The parking space is located in a meadow. The terrace is paved. Perhaps we should consult in advance about the conditions that need to be met. As the toilet is in a separate building, it is not easy to get there in a wheelchair.

  • Fenced

The grounds are fenced in. A key for the gate is provided.

  • Other (house rules)

We've set up another room for you. Here you can make tea or coffee. A coffee maker, electric kettle, coffee set, glasses, and a selection of

    cutlery are available on site.

Around the accommodation

  • Waste disposal

    4€ per usage/unit

  • Playground

A small selection of toys is available, including a ball, sand toys, and more.

  • Bike rental

Could be borrowed. Perhaps call ahead to find out what standard the bikes need to be.

Bookable extras

  • Extras: See what you need and get in touch with us.

If you have any requests, just let us know. We are also happy to prepare breakfast or organize bread rolls. Drinks can be purchased. A refrigerator is available. Since I have to enter a price to save this process, I have entered 2€. Of course, we cannot prepare breakfast for this price. Let's talk to each other.

Activities

  • Hiking

Feel free to check out the websites Erlebnisregion-Artland.de, Kulturschatz Artland, or Hasetal.de.

  • Wine tasting

There is a wine merchant in Quakenbrück who is certainly happy to present his wine and who has a large, old wine cellar that is really worth seeing.

  • Swimming

The outdoor/indoor pool is 800m away.

  • Watching wildlife

Even though we're right in the middle of the city, you can spot birds, hedgehogs, and bats. Our very own owl is out and about at night.

  • Kayaking, canoeing

You can paddle your own boat on the Hase.

  • Playing by the water

This is certainly possible at the Haseüberwurf/Solgleite. Reachable by bike in about 10 minutes.

  • Other activities

The city museum in Quakenbrück is great, and the open-air museum in Cloppenburg, for example, is just a 15-minute train ride away. Stift Börstel, the monastery in Dinklage, or the Thülsfelder Dam—with its climbing garden and the Thüle Animal and Leisure Park—might also be worth a visit. You can go water skiing at Alfsee, and there’s an indoor playground there called Bullermeck. The train station in Quakenbrück offers train service to Osnabrück and Oldenburg. We can recommend even more places to visit—feel free to ask us.

  • Cycling

Beautiful bike paths along the Hase River and through country roads and meadows. Feel free to check out the websites Erlebnisregion-Artland.de, Kulturschatz Artland, or Hasetal.de for more information.

Anne and her husband are very friendly, easygoing, and helpful hosts. The parking spot is located in the backyard of their own lovingly renovated, historic home. The bathroom is also located there, and it truly has everything you could want. We definitely recommend Anne and this parking spot!

Simply the best—a gorgeous garden and a bathroom available when needed. Plus, the hosts were incredibly friendly. We’ll be back. Best regards

Anne and Frank are very friendly and helpful hosts, and offer a great backcountry place. The very beautiful garden has several possibilities to retreat undisturbed and spend pleasant hours. We would love to come back again and can highly recommend this place.
