Former trout farm in the southern Harz region

Important information: we are currently carrying out tree maintenance work on the property and have a lot of cleanup work to do. In addition, there has been frost damage to the sanitary facilities. We are trying to have everything under control by March 1, 2026. Until then, no parking spaces are available.

We offer two parking spaces for overnight stays on our property, an old trout farm in the southern Harz Mountains, outside of Uftrungen. This is a great starting point for excursions in the Harz Mountains.

Due to work commitments, we ask that you book 24 hours in advance. The site is partially fenced and easily accessible via a paved access road. The 6500 m² site features a spring (no swimming), a stream, two halls, and a bungalow. Two toilets and a shower are available (no sinks at the moment). A small grill and the fire pit or fire barrel are available for use, as are a hammock and two comfortable hay racks for seating. In addition, a hot tub (for wellness, not as a swimming pool) is available for use by arrangement. Please take any rubbish with you and dispose of it yourself. Dogs and cats are very welcome, we only ask that you pick up after your pets. It is not always possible to let your furry friends run free. All four-legged friends must be kept on a leash on the property, but they can be let off the leash at times by arrangement. Outside the property, dogs must be kept on a leash in Saxony-Anhalt from March 1 to July 15. We would like to be on site to give our guests instructions upon arrival, which is why there must be a time window for arrival. Information on this, as well as directions, will be sent to you with your booking confirmation. We must admit that we cannot always respond immediately to bookings. We are nature lovers and enjoy spending time without laptops and cell phones. We check our mailbox twice a day (morning and evening), and we are happy to respond! We hope you can understand this in our fast-paced world. But the parking space on our property is just as slow-paced. The following addendum is necessary: Our guests are responsible for the hygiene of the toilets and showers during their stay. Both will be handed over in perfect condition and we ask that they be returned in the same condition. Cleaning products are available on site.
