Booking on request

Stephanie und Michael will personally confirm your stay.

Free cancellation up to 1 day (12:00 p.m.) before arrival.

Due to our work schedule, we ask that you book 24 hours in advance. This also applies to weekends and holidays.

We offer two overnight parking spots on our property, a former trout farm in the southern Harz Mountains, just outside of Uftrungen.

This is a great starting point for day trips in the Harz Mountains.

The property is partially fenced and easily accessible via a paved driveway. The 6,500 m² site features a spring (swimming not permitted), a stream (where your furry friends are welcome to splash around), two buildings, and a bungalow. Two restrooms and a shower are available (no sinks at the moment). Feel free to use the fire pit or fire barrel and a small grill, as well as a hammock and two cozy wooden benches for seating. In addition, a hot tub (for wellness purposes, not as a swimming pool) is available for use by arrangement and for a fee. Please take any trash you generate with you and dispose of it yourself. Dogs and cats are very welcome here; we only ask that you pick up after your pets. It is not always possible for your furry friends to run free. Dogs must generally be kept on a leash on the property; however, they may be allowed to run free at times by prior arrangement. Outside the property, dogs must be kept on a leash in Saxony-Anhalt from March 1 through July 15. We’d like to be on-site to provide a tour when our guests arrive, which is why we need a time window for your arrival. You’ll receive details about this, along with directions, in your booking confirmation. We also have to admit that we can’t always respond to booking requests immediately. We are nature lovers and enjoy spending time away from laptops and cell phones. We check our email twice a day (in the morning and in the evening), and we’re more than happy to respond then! We hope you can understand this in our fast-paced world. But the campsite on our property offers the same sense of relaxation.

The following note is necessary: During their stay, our guests are responsible for maintaining hygiene in the restrooms and shower. Both are provided in impeccable condition, and we ask that you leave them in the same condition. Cleaning supplies are available on-site.

  • Friendly welcome and very helpful. Each camping unit has its own restroom. Awesome Very quiet location and very dog-friendly.

  • Our second visit! Everything was great again. This time we also tried out the hot tub—I definitely recommend it. I’m sure we’ll be stopping by Stephi and Micha’s place again.

  • We stayed for two nights with Stephanie and Michael at their wonderful, well-maintained property in a secluded location on the southern edge of the Harz Mountains. They’re both so kind; after a brief tour of the site and the very clean restroom, we even felt comfortable staying on our own, with just a few ducks regularly waddling past us. We’d definitely come back if our next trip takes us in that direction.

  • Super-friendly hosts and a truly wonderful, quiet, and spacious spot with everything you need for camping! There were four of us, plus two dogs, and we all enjoyed every second. I highly recommend the hot tub—it was the highlight of our Saturday after that long hike! We’ll definitely be back. :-)
