Booking on request

Stephanie und Michael will personally confirm your stay.

Free cancellation up to 1 day (12:00 p.m.) before arrival.

Due to work commitments, we ask that you book at least 24 hours in advance. This also applies to weekends and holidays.

We offer two overnight campsites on our property, a former trout farm in the southern Harz Mountains, just outside Uftrungen.

This is a great starting point for excursions in the Harz Mountains.

The property is partially fenced and easily accessible via a paved access road. The 6,500 m² site features a spring (swimming not permitted), a stream, two sheds, and a bungalow. Two toilets and a shower are available (no sinks at this time). A small grill and the fire pit or fire barrel are welcome to be used, as are a hammock and two cozy benches for seating. Additionally, a hot tub (for wellness, not as a swimming pool) is available for use by arrangement. Please take any trash with you and dispose of it yourself. Dogs and cats are very welcome; we only ask that you pick up after your pets. Allowing your furry friends to roam freely isn’t always possible. All four-legged friends must be kept on a leash on the property; off-leash time may be permitted occasionally upon request. Outside the property, leashes are required in Saxony-Anhalt from March 1 to July 15. We prefer to be on-site to provide a tour upon your arrival, which is why we require a specific arrival time slot. You will receive information on this, as well as directions, with your booking confirmation. We must admit that we cannot always respond to bookings immediately. We are nature lovers and enjoy spending time without laptops and cell phones. We check our inbox twice a day (morning and evening), and we are more than happy to respond then! We hope you can understand this in our fast-paced world. But the campsite on our property is just as laid-back.

The following note is necessary: During their stay, our guests are responsible for maintaining hygiene in the toilets and shower. Both are handed over in pristine condition, and we ask that you return them in the same condition. Cleaning supplies are provided on-site.

We had a fantastic weekend staying with Stephi and Micha. The campsite is nicely tucked away on the outskirts of town; it was easy to get to and quiet—exactly what we were looking for. We were given a warm welcome. They both took really good care of us. We had electricity and a stack of firewood to boot, plus a few tips on local events and some lovely conversations. We’d love to come back!

Thank you so much for having us as your guests. We were given such a warm welcome and had a wonderful, peaceful stay. The highlight for us was the hot tub under the starry sky ✨ We’d love to come back!
