Booking on request

Stephanie und Michael will personally confirm your stay.

Free cancellation up to 1 day (12:00 p.m.) before arrival.

Due to our work schedule, we ask that you book 24 hours in advance. This also applies to weekends and holidays.

We offer two overnight parking spots on our property, a former trout farm in the southern Harz Mountains, just outside of Uftrungen.

This is a great starting point for day trips in the Harz Mountains.

The property is partially fenced and easily accessible via a paved driveway. The 6,500 m² grounds feature a spring (swimming not permitted), a stream (where your furry friends are welcome to splash around), two sheds, and a bungalow. Two restrooms and a shower are available (no sinks at the moment). The fire pit or fire barrel and a small grill are available for use, as are a hammock and two cozy wooden benches for seating. In addition, a hot tub (for wellness purposes, not as a swimming pool) is available for use by arrangement and for a fee. Please take any trash you generate with you and dispose of it yourself. Dogs and cats are very welcome here; we only ask that you pick up after your pets. It’s not always possible for your furry friends to run free. Dogs must generally be kept on a leash on the property; however, they may be allowed to run free at times by prior arrangement. Outside the property, dogs must be kept on a leash in Saxony-Anhalt from March 1 through July 15. We’d like to be on-site to welcome our guests upon arrival and provide a tour, which is why we need a time window for your arrival. You’ll receive details about this, along with directions, in your booking confirmation. We must admit that we can’t always respond to booking requests immediately. We are nature lovers and enjoy spending time without laptops or cell phones. We check our inbox twice a day (morning and evening), and we’re more than happy to respond then! We hope you can understand this in our fast-paced world. But the campsite on our property offers the same sense of relaxation.

The following note is necessary: During their stay, our guests are responsible for maintaining hygiene in the restrooms and shower. Both are handed over in impeccable condition, and we ask that you leave them in the same condition. Cleaning supplies are provided on-site.

Such a lovely host family, a wonderfully peaceful spot, and the area is perfect for biking. Our dogs and we felt very comfortable there. We’ll be back😄, and watching a kingfisher dive into the water was also a wonderful experience. Greetings from Biggi, Udo, and the furry friends.

We were warmly welcomed by their daughter, who explained everything to us. Later, we were also greeted by Micha and Stephie. They are truly wonderful people and very fond of animals. We’ll definitely visit their beautiful little corner of the world again. They even gave our dog—who was celebrating his birthday—a little gift.

We’re really glad to have found this special campsite in the southern Harz Mountains. The former trout farm has a charm all its own and offers a wonderfully peaceful, natural atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and taking a deep breath. Stephanie and Michael are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. We were greeted very warmly and felt welcome from the very first moment. You can immediately tell how much love and dedication they put into creating this place. The campsite itself is spacious, idyllically located, and ideal for anyone seeking nature and tranquility. The gentle lapping of the water and the beautiful surroundings make the stay something truly special. We’d love to come back and can’t recommend this Hinterland campsite highly enough!
