Experiential Camping in Val Pellice

🏕 Treat yourself to an unforgettable nature experience, an unusual vacation for those who choose slow pace, tranquility, conviviality and nature.

An adventure for families, friends or loners who love alternatives. It is more than a campground, it is an open-air home! One sleeps in trees, but does not have to give up the comfort of a classic home.

One has time and space to relax, but also to have fun with games in the forest.

We are a family (mom, dad and a little girl) who are happy to meet new people and share our home in the forest. We are in the mountains and have mostly steep terrain, but we have set up in flat spaces, real outdoor rooms.

🏕 Camping in the woods, bring your own tent! We have a private pitch in the middle of the forest. It is not possible to reach the campsite by car.

🚽 The bathroom is a composting toilet. The shower is outside and the water is heated by solar panels and is available to you.

The kitchen is outside but covered and consists of a simple stove and sink; it is equipped with dishes and the essentials for cooking. There is a refrigerator just for you!

You can eat your meals on the large wooden table in the center of the pavilion. In this area you will find lighting, drinking water and electricity.

💆🏻 Hammocks for relaxing and equipment for playing in the trees will delight children and adults alike.

🍴 On site you will find local, artisan and agricultural products and the smell of homemade bread and cookies.

This is the place for those who love camping but want a little more comfort. For families, friends or loners who love adventure and nature.

🐶 Two cats and two dogs are so cute in the house.

🚙 The road leading to our forest is uphill with narrow hairpin bends, paved but bumpy in places: it can be scary for those not used to mountain roads, but don't worry, drive slowly and you will arrive safely! It is about 7 km from the village (8 minutes by car and 45 minutes on foot). The nearest train station (Pinerolo) is 25 km away; there are buses on the Pinerolo-Torre Pellice line.

A day before your arrival I will send you detailed directions and location for easy travel.

The Pellice Valley is an area rich in beauty and natural landscapes to admire. We will be happy to give you useful tips to make your vacation a real experience!

🏞 From the house you can take many peaceful walks along the paths that connect the various hamlets in the woods or reach the Barfè refuge, where you can eat many delicious typical dishes and climb to the top of Mount Vandalino to enjoy the view.

From the nearby villages of Villar Pellice, Bobbio Pellice and Villanova, countless high mountain hikes depart. An hour away is the imposing Monviso (3,841 meters) or Sestriere, the highest town in Italy at 2,035 meters.

If, on the other hand, you simply want to unplug, slow down and relax without doing anything, then we recommend a dip in the cool Tumpi, the natural pools of the Pellice Valley streams; the water will have a rejuvenating effect on you.
