  Despite booking on the spur of the moment (i.e., at short notice), we were warmly welcomed by Marc’s wife, Annika, and his parents. The place is wonderful and situated in a very idyllic setting. There’s a small cabin where, in addition to wine, other little treats are offered. Everything is on a trust basis—thank you so much for that. The restrooms were spotlessly clean, and soap, hand sanitizer, and towels were provided as a matter of course. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

  We got to spend four wonderful days with some truly amazing hosts. We’ve rarely been welcomed so warmly. The Ritzinger family not only makes great wine, but also has a soft spot for animals. Our dogs had plenty of space and were free to roam whenever they wanted. They even set up a small dog pool for us so our pups could cool off in the heat. We wanted for nothing, and we’ll definitely be back. Despite the nearby highway, the location is quiet, and the air traffic—which had been a concern beforehand—was never a nuisance. On the contrary, we found it very interesting to watch the planes heading toward Frankfurt. Dear Ritzinger family, thank you so much for your hospitality and the interesting insights into your work.
