Strohgäublick at the Hohscheid

The Hohscheid is a quiet meadow plot on a slope in a weekend property area. It is located directly on an agricultural access road, which is partially tarred and graveled and therefore easily accessible in all weathers.

There is space for a caravan, motorhome or roof tent on this parking lot at the top of the plot. On the tent level, approx. 50m down the meadow, you can also camp well (size of the tent meadow approx. 4mx10m, grass).

The forest adjoins the pitch to the north, and to the south there is a beautiful view of the Strohgäu and the distant Black Forest.

The pitch for motorhomes and roof tents is located directly next to the access road, behind our stilt house under a hornbeam.

Tent sleepers are welcome to pitch their tent on the flat tent meadow halfway up the plot.

On a lower terrace there is a fireplace and seating in the form of a wooden bench. This is sufficiently far away from the pitch for vehicles and the tent terrace so that you don't have to worry about damaging your tent with flying sparks.

The plot is not suitable for people with walking difficulties due to its sloping location, although the pitch itself is almost level next to the access road.

The pitch has no infrastructure such as water or electricity. It is therefore only suitable for self-sufficient travelers.

It is a 15-minute walk to the Netto supermarket in Hochdorf and a 25-minute walk to the Celtic Museum, which is well worth a visit. There is a bakery opposite the museum that offers a rich breakfast program for the whole week - even on weekends.

The Hohscheid is our weekly retreat and needs to be looked after. That's why it can happen that I or one of my children comes by to mow the meadow or pick fruit. These are rarely jobs lasting longer than 2 hours.
