The parking spot is located on our farm. You can park on a large meadow—there’s plenty of space. Whether you’re in a camper van or a trailer, there’s a comfortable spot for everyone.

If it happens to be too wet and your four-wheel-drive vehicle isn’t around, you can park on a paved strip at the edge of the meadow. This is also recommended for "hardcore" visitors who want to come see us in the winter. The view stays the same—only the perspective changes. ;)

If the meadow ever gets too wet, we can offer you a paved parking spot right next to the meadow. That’s why we ask that you always check in when you arrive at our farm. (Just ring the bell at the barn door.) Then we’ll show you the options.

On our farm and in the meadows, you’ll find everything you need—provided you’re “self-sufficient.” After all, there are no toilets or showers in nature. So there aren’t any here either! However, for a fee, we do have an electrical hookup (a simple 230 V extension cord) available for you. The standard flat rate is €3 per day. If you use this to power an air conditioner or heater, the flat rate is €5.

In our farm shop, you can purchase regional products such as eggs, jams, sausages, pasta, game meat, delicious ice cream, and much more.

Two larger grocery stores and bakeries are located 2 km away. They’re just a 5–10-minute bike ride away.

If you don’t have a fire pit, we’re happy to help you out (provided there’s no risk of wildfire due to dry conditions). We also have plenty of firewood. If your fridge is empty, you’ll find more than just eggs in our little farm shop.

Because freedom is important to us, our chickens, chicks, and turkeys also have mobile homes, which they use to move around our meadows regularly. If you like, you can “pitch your tent right next to them” and let the rooster wake you up in the morning. However, this camping spot option isn’t recommended for late sleepers. ;)

Fluff alert: Of course, we wouldn’t be complete without alpacas. Enjoy these cuddly four-legged friends up close and let their calmness rub off on you.

We look forward to seeing you.

Susanne and Frank

  • A lovely campsite with a view of the alpacas. The farm stand has plenty to offer (eggs, potatoes, egg liqueur, and much more). You can hear the nearby train line during the day, but it was very quiet at night. We’d definitely come back.

  • Short stay with a trailer: A nice, spacious, and well-maintained campsite in the sun, with a view of alpacas; everything was very well organized and hassle-free.

  • Susanne gave us a really warm welcome and picked out a nice, shady spot for us. It’s fun to watch the animals on the farm. We never would have thought it would be so much fun to watch the turkeys interact with each other! It just so happened that there was a farm flea market going on, which was also very interesting. We’d love to come back

  • Super-friendly hosts and a great campsite. We stayed with Susanne and Frank for one night with our rooftop tent and combined our visit with a trip to the sauna at Maximare. Susanne gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around. We were able to park a little behind the trees, which was great because it gave us half shade and half sun. On the property itself, there are some animals, such as chickens, alpacas, and geese. There’s also a small farm stand with grilled meat, ice cream, homemade eggnog, and everything you need for a relaxing evening. Several fire pits and grills are available on the property. We had a wonderful weekend with Susanne and Frank—it certainly won’t be our last visit.
