This campsite is all yours. You’ll have it all to yourselves and can only book friends in if needed. There’s plenty of room ;).
The campsite is beautifully secluded (500 meters from the nearest main road) on the outskirts of Havixbeck, but still close enough to the center. The town center is about 2.3 km away. The nearest restaurant is just a 500-meter walk away.
It’s perfect for a short getaway in the beautiful Münsterland region, with a direct view of the Baumberge hills.
The location is perfect for lovely bike rides, hikes, or mountain bike tours through the Münsterland region or to the Baumberge, which are only about 1.6 km away.
The site is a largely unused meadow that’s uneven in places.
If electricity is needed, it can be provided via a standard Schuko outlet (max. 250W—so electric heating is not possible!).
As the pictures suggest, our house and garden are located near the parking spot. Unfortunately, as a family, we cannot rule out the possibility of encounters or noise.
Finally, we would ask that you only walk on the green-hatched area and the path. So please do not walk through our garden or use it in any way.
Additional information:
- If it has rained heavily for several days, the parking spot is not accessible by vehicle.
- The nearest waste disposal facility is approximately 2.4 km away.
- Check-in by arrangement between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
- Check-out by 12:00 PM.

Everything was great—nice place!
We had a really lovely little getaway at Kai’s campsite. The view is truly amazing, and aside from a few friendly walkers, you’re completely on your own. It’s a half-hour walk to the center of Havixbeck, where you’ll find one of the best bakeries we’ve ever been to (Jürgens Brotwerkstatt). Communicating with Kai was very straightforward and pleasant! We’ll definitely be back.
We had a truly wonderful short trip to Kai's place and his meadow. It was quiet, green, and rural, and both we and our dog Millow were able to really unwind. We definitely recommend it for self-sufficient campers. 👍
