Malchow is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District, near the A19 freeway between Berlin and Rostock.
You park with us, with your motorhome on a green area between an exhibition hall and a workshop. Another parking space (on the opposite green area) offers the view from the camper, on the harbor.

We spent the night at Martin’s place since we were just passing through. It was a real stroke of luck. Everything we needed was there: clean restrooms, electricity, and drinking water. We were right on the water. It was exciting to watch the boats docking. It was just a short walk to the pretty, bustling town of Malchow. We’d love to come back!
Martin is a very friendly host and has everything you need for a weekend in a camper right on site. The restrooms are clean, and there’s electricity and water just around the corner. We were lucky with the weather—what more could you ask for?! We’ll be back!

Our 3-night stay with Martin right at the shipyard—his workplace—was very hassle-free. He was always helpful and very friendly. There are 2 great individual showers; everything is clean and has its own lock. It costs 50 cents for 2—but really 3—minutes of hot water. We had a direct view of the water and could watch the daily goings-on at the shipyard since it’s also his workplace. Small boats were launched several times—where else do you get to see that?! Two cute cats also made our stay even more enjoyable 😽 The beautiful town center is within easy walking distance, as is a relaxed, fair boat rental service where you can drive yourself without a license! We stayed here for 2 nights with our motorhome. We liked it. The harbor master was friendly and helpful. The facilities (shower, WC) were fine. (Don't forget to bring 50 cent coins for the shower). The village was nice and close by. The boat owners of the boats in the harbor were also very friendly. We would love to come back again.
