On the estate between the Kocher and Jagst valleys

Many paths lead to inner peace. Most of them directly through nature. You can try this out particularly well at the Ruckardtshausen farm in the Hohenlohe region. The farm is located on a ridge between the rivers Kocher and Jagst. From the farm's extensive land, you have an unlimited view over fields and meadows to the horizon, which is typical for ridges.

You park your California or VW camper on a meadow under old fruit trees. Cherries and apples almost grow in your mouth. Every evening, your campsite invites you to watch the sunset and take in the play of colors from light blue to pink, orange, pale lilac to midnight blue, until your everyday life dissolves into bliss. And then just sit by the fire until the moon rises, counting stars and listening to the silence.

Your hosts are Julia and Samuel. They live and work with people, dogs and cats on the estate. Wheat, barley, canola, sugar beets, corn, beans and peas grow in the fields around the farm. The farm also includes 30 hectares of forest, which the farm community takes care of and where you can go hiking. If you like, Julia and Samuel will be super happy to teach you about integrated farming and tell you what a forest needs to be so good for the soul.

In the two river valleys of Kocher and Jagst there are castles, ruins and palaces to look at. Around them, vineyards complement the wild and romantic idyll. At both rivers there are bathing places for swimming or for launching your canoe into the water.
