This is a real, basic farm campsite with no toilet or shower.

Expect mud, animals, children, farm noises, insects, unfinished projects and tall grass.

If you expect luxury, this is not the place for you.

But if you like real life, peace and nature - welcome! ❤️

Welcome to our self-sufficient family farm

We offer a peaceful country experience - not a glossy glamping site.

This is a real, working farm, not a campsite or luxury resort.

Expect animals, insects, dirt under your boots, children running around and the smell of hay and goats. It's all part of the charm - and what makes this experience unique.

We don't have:

- No toilet or shower facilities (unless specifically arranged).

- No paved paths or pretty signs. You may have to walk through tall grass or soft ground.

- No reception or check-in desk - just us, the family who live here.

You'll love it - or find it too pristine. Either is fine.

But if you're looking for a well-kept place with full facilities, you're probably in the wrong place.

What we offer ❤️

A personal welcome, access to clean drinking water (included in the pitch price), optional local breakfast, real contact with animals and a peaceful environment.

Our family (2 adults + 6 children - 4, 6, 13, 14, 16 and 17 years old) lives here all year round.

We like to share our daily life, our animals, our vegetables and our handmade products with guests who appreciate simplicity, nature and authenticity.

Our farm is located far out in the countryside, surrounded by fields and a large forest with fox dens and many climbing trees.

Early risers? Around 7 a.m. you can help feed the animals, milk the goats (April-September), take part in everyday life on the farm and see where food comes from and how wool and quilts are made.

During the lamb, goat kid and chick season, you can experience the cute offspring.

Our animals include Wensleydale sheep, dairy goats, chickens and cats.

Depending on the season, we also sell products from our self-sufficiency, handmade goods and e.g. lambskins.

Important practical information ⚠️

- 6 pitches for campers, from simple meadow pitches to easily accessible parking areas.

- In rainy weather, some areas may be muddy or inaccessible for heavy vehicles - we will help you find the safest place.

- Electric hook-up for €4 per night (please bring adapter).

- No toilet or shower facilities (except in exceptional circumstances and only optional).

- Please do not feed the animals and do not enter the enclosures without us.

- Children must always be supervised with the animals.

- Please keep order and report any damage.

- One dog per family allowed - always on a lead.

- On weekdays we are not available from 8:30-11:30 and 12:30-14:00 due to work and online appointments.

Breakfast (optional, 7 €/adult, free under 3 years)

Regional, fresh and homemade: bread rolls, soft-boiled eggs/omelette with vegetables, yogurt/skyr, drinking yogurt/juice, butter, cheese, jam or other cold cuts.

From our own production in the period 15.4.-15.9., the offer varies daily.

On weekdays please order by 18:00 the day before, at weekends by Friday 18:00 - by text message, phone call, e-mail or in person.
