Welcome to Sorbian Upper Lusatia!
You will spend the night in a quiet and idyllic location right by the monastery water.
In summer, large trees provide plenty of shade.
Your pitch is on a grass grid with fine gravel filling and a lawn with a solid mixture of humus and gravel on your pitch.
A restaurant (with limited opening hours due to heavy bookings for pre-ordered celebrations) is located in the immediate vicinity of your pitch. A vending machine for food and ice cream is available 24 hours a day.
A pleasant 30-minute walk will take you to the Sankt Marienstern monastery and the associated herb garden. For your excursion by bike, you can start directly at the Krabat cycle path.

We stayed with Sebastian for two nights—from Saturday to Monday. The highlights are the restroom facilities—clean and spacious—and the site itself, which is paved and has a green area. It’s quiet, even though the street is right next to it. Of course, a car drives by now and then, but it’s no big deal. The best part is the vending machine—delicious ice cream anytime, and if you want, roulades with red cabbage and dumplings. Of course, we tried everything. Awesome. Bottom line: A small (3-site) campground that made a big (positive) impression on us. Best regards to Sebastian.
Great campsite, very well-maintained restrooms, and absolutely nice and easygoing hosts. Everything was TOP! If I ever come back to this part of Germany, this campsite will definitely be my first choice again. Tip: Be sure to try the incredibly delicious ice cream from the ice cream machine!
Friendly staff, clean restrooms, delicious ice cream, and Roulanden from the vending machine next door. Plenty of space to play and hang out. At night, though, it was pretty noisy because of the very loud fan (?) on the building and the street right next door. But it was okay for us :)
Great campsite. Friendly hosts. The restrooms are fantastic. Electricity and water are available and easy to access. Delicious ice cream from the vending machine right at the campsite. We’d love to come back.
