Farm camping in the Allgäu in a pre-alpine panoramic location

Free-standing sites for self-sufficient campers in front of our retired farm in a secluded southern location!

This is how we’re launching our “Ferienhof Steinbühl” project with 2 campsites, now that our vacation home is complete and available for booking for up to 8 guests.

From our hilltop location at Steinbühl (750 m), you can walk to the nearby Center Parks Allgäu vacation park with its unique Aqua Mundo Allgäu water park, or to the neighboring Bavarian village of Frauenzell with its old, cozy village inn and farm shop next door. The Allgäu metropolis and ancient Roman city of Kempten im Allgäu, 20 km away, can be reached via the nature-rich Kürnachtal valley and its foothills leading to the mountainous Kreuzthal or the Eschacher Weiher nature reserve—to name just a few examples of possible activities.

The two campsites, "Am Garten" and "Hohe Bäume," with unobstructed views of the Allgäu Alps and Swiss Alps, are accessible via a driveway located directly south of the farm complex.

For now, guests can use our barn restroom with a sink; there is a wall-mounted fountain with drinking water near the campsites. In the future, we will offer our campers a heated washroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
