JuliaHello, I live with my 4 year old daughter and my boyfriend in a small village with about 50 inhabitants and have a large meadow (about 500 square meters) next to the house. I just want to offer people like me, who want to travel freely and inexpensively through the area, the opportunity to pitch their tent without discussions with foresters and co. and also in a really beautiful spot of nature. That's why I don't offer you any luxury. If you feel like getting to know me, I'd be delighted, but I don't run a vacation apartment or campsite, I'm a private person who likes to meet new people and thinks that leaving such a beautiful meadow unused is simply pointless. Anyone who likes animals will also feel at home here. There is an alpaca farm next door and I have a dog, two cats, two rabbits and 3 chickens. The meadow cannot be used in wet weather, so it is only suitable for tents!
Free cancellation up to 1 day (12:00 p.m.) before arrival.
Between fields
Emmeroth is surrounded by traditional arable fields, meadows and pastures. There is a paddock next door and a meadow where cows occasionally graze.
At/in the forest
The forest is about 500m along the path and very nice to walk or linger.
In a meadow
My meadow is right on the edge of the village with a view of the Hunsrück hills and forests.
Parking facilities
Quite possible. You'll have to see. On the meadow, if it hasn't rained too much, or up by the road. Depending on the humidity.
Toilet
You are on a large meadow on the edge of the village 😉 But if you urgently need a real toilet, you are welcome to ask me.
Dogs welcome
I have a dog myself and have no problem with animal visitors.
Cats welcome
However, there are already many cats in the neighborhood and I also have two cats
Electricity
Water
Either at my place or at the village well or somewhere else. There's plenty of water 😊
Cell phone reception
You have to walk up the road a bit. It is rather difficult in the village.
Campfire allowed
Please with a fire bowl and not just on the meadow.
Firewood
You have to bring your own. What's around it is our iron reserve for the cold winter.
Barbecue allowed
Yes, of course.
WiFi
If I am there, you are welcome to ask me for WLAN and use it. However, it doesn't reach as far as the meadow.
Fenced
Is on my meadow by the house. This is partially fenced in, as the neighbor's alpacas sometimes graze here.
Other (house rules)
No party meadow, as it is adjacent to a house and is clearly audible throughout the village, please also keep the campfire within normal limits.
Farm shop
There is an alpaca farm store in the village. The nearest supermarket is in Morbach (about 15 minutes by car). One village further on in Longkamp (approx. 3 km) there is a village store.
Waste disposal
Household waste and paper can simply be disposed of in my garbage cans. Please take yellow back with you.
Grey water disposal
Not possible with us
Playground

Cycling
If you don't have a problem with altitude, you can cycle through the fields.

Watching wildlife
Birds, deer, foxes and whatever else there is to see at the edge of the forest.

The side trail of the Moselle High Trail goes through Emmeroth. But you can also just walk off at your own pace.
