Fancy a little getaway in the countryside by the Baltic Sea—but without the crowds of stressed-out tourists?
Then you’ve come to the right place.
We’re Stephy & Juan, along with our two boys and our dog. We live where others like to vacation, and we have a special spot for you on our 3,000-square-meter property!
Less than 15 minutes from the white sandy beaches in Rerik or Kühlungsborn, you can enjoy the tranquility of village life while still feeling close to the Baltic Sea. But if you’re in the mood for some culture or a day in the city, Rostock and Wismar are about 30 minutes away, and Lübeck and Schwerin are about 60 minutes away

Our old fruit trees provide a shady spot and a cozy atmosphere.
By the sea
The nearest sandy beach (Rerik & Kühlungsborn) is less than 15 minutes away and can also be reached by bike in about 30 minutes or 45 minutes.
With a shady place
Thanks to our old fruit trees, we always have a shady spot for you.
At/in the forest
It's less than a 5-minute walk to the forest where you can observe wild animals.

Since we live in a village and also like our neighbors, we appeal to your common sense when it comes to general behavior, mutual consideration on our property and, of course, the noise level at late hours.

Playground
We have a great playground in the village and also some play equipment on the property.
Activities
Cycling
Nothing stands in the way of a bike tour. Whether through the forest, across fields or to the beach - no problem by bike.
Hiking
Over hill and dale, through forests, to the beach or along the Hellbach stream. All of this is possible.
Kayaking, canoeing
Possible on the Baltic Sea or in the Salzhaff.
Playing by the water
Possible on the beach or by the Hellbach stream, which flows alongside the village.
Golf
If you fancy a round of golf, you'll get your money's worth in Wittenbeck. The golf course is about 20 minutes away from us.
Other activities
SEGEL TURNS - If you feel like sailing, you are welcome to join our in-house sailing coach & circumnavigator Juan on our Hobie Cat 16 for a sporty round on the Baltic Sea off Kühlungsborn.
Beach vacation
Spoilt for choice: Rerik with its salt lagoon and white sandy beach or Kühlungsborn with its 4 km long sandy beach (we also have a few insider tips here if you prefer it quieter) and promenade for strolling and eating delicious food.
Watching wildlife
Wild animals can often be seen in the surrounding fields or in the forest.
Sailing
With our in-house sailing coach (Juan), a sailing trip or two on our Hobie Cat 16 could also become a reality :)
Swimming
The Baltic Sea and its long sandy beaches are calling. If that's not for you, you're welcome to go to the indoor pool in Kühlungsborn, Wismar or Rostock :)

We had a wonderful time at Stephi and Juan’s; we had a lovely spot in the shade under an old fruit tree. And every morning, we were greeted very warmly by Momo, the family’s four-legged member. Stephi and Juan were very kind hosts and gave us great tips for our outings. We felt very comfortable there.
The campsite was right next to the road—not much traffic, but still visible from the road. Very basic. A bit too expensive for what it offered! But the hosts are nice.
A very friendly host family... The area is pleasantly quiet and idyllic.
A small, lovely place where you can find peace and quiet and be by yourself. Also highly recommended if you’re traveling by bike, as there are plenty of small trails through nature here. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome, as did the lively dog who’s part of the family here. We’ll definitely pitch our tents here again and stay a few days longer. Until then, greetings from Mölln
We had a wonderful time staying with you. It was a great base for exploring the Baltic Sea. We also got to visit relatives at Kröpelin Castle and enjoyed a delicious fish dinner in Rerik at Fischer sin Fru. We had a wonderful Baltic Sea getaway staying with you! Thank you so much.
