The campsite for self-sufficient campers is a meadow in the woods, more than 2,000 m² in size, located away from our mill, with a shaded, graveled parking area.
Short drive along a paved dirt road
Ideal location for nature lovers, a great starting point for sightseeing tours in the surrounding area, or as a stopover on a longer trip
Despite its secluded location, there are good amenities in the nearby towns
Groups and multiple campers are possible upon request

We spent a few very relaxing days with our dogs in a beautiful forest clearing. The spot is located next to a paved path, so getting there was no problem. Every now and then, cyclists, pedestrians, and cars pass by, but very rarely and not at all disruptive. We didn’t get to meet Heinrich because he was on a camping trip himself at the time. His wife, Konstanze, gave us a very warm welcome and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. We could contact Konstanze by cell phone if we needed anything or wanted to buy the products, most of which they make themselves. Everything went smoothly and was completely unobtrusive. We ended up buying some of their products, which we highly recommend. Everything we’ve tried so far has been consistently excellent. We can’t recommend Heinrich and Konstanze and their campsite highly enough, and we’ll definitely be back.
The host gave me a really warm welcome and showed me around the place. It was exactly what I was looking for: peace and quiet, plenty of shade, and all to myself. Great places to walk the dog right from the clearing. Thank you so much for this wonderful spot.
