Sleeping with the sheep in the Recknitz floodplain

You can park your camper etc. on our (approx. 3500m²) sheep meadow. You can decide whether you want to be greeted by 7 curious sheep in the morning or prefer to stand "next to" the meadow. You get electricity and fresh water. You can simply barbecue on the meadow (if the forest fire level is appropriate) or you can use our "playground terrace" with furniture, hammock, barbecue and fire barrel.

If you like, you can also use our tree house for an overnight stay.

We live on the property and will be happy to help you with any issues you may have, but otherwise we will leave you in peace. We have a "play mountain" for children and guinea pigs who are always happy to find fresh dandelions.

As we have a peripheral plot, there are no direct neighbors (except us). We ourselves love the peace and seclusion of camping, so we only offer a maximum of 2 pitches (more on request).

On the other hand, you have to expect that sometimes up to 6 children (including our own) will be romping around in our yard 😉.

Surroundings:

From our farm, you can hike into the floodplain of the Recknitz and through forests and meadows and also swim there about 4km away. Or you can start a bike tour to the various manor houses nearby. There are various shopping facilities and a great outdoor pool approx. 10 minutes' drive away. If you want to take a 45-minute drive, you can also reach the Baltic Sea beach (without crowded main roads)

The highway (A20) is 15 minutes away and takes you to Rostock in about 30-40 minutes.

Please note:

We do not (yet) have any sanitary facilities that we can make available to you.

As we have a farm dog (who takes her job seriously) other dogs are currently difficult to impossible. We will put up a fence next year so that other dogs are welcome.
