Pitch near Nuremberg: peace & quiet & close to the city

Due to the ground conditions (the space and access road are very wet and soggy this year), we will not be able to start the season until April 1 at the earliest. Depending on the weather, we may need to give the ground a little more time to recover at the beginning of April. We will assess the situation in mid-March.

We are already looking forward to the 2026 season! Birgit and Klaus The parking space is a fenced-in orchard adjacent to our property. On the other sides: fields and a small forest, behind which are cow and chicken coops. The meadow is approx. 1200 square meters in size, partly meadow, partly trees and bushes.

The location is about 11 km from the center of Nuremberg, which can be reached in about 25 minutes by car or about 40 minutes by bike. The bus in the village runs very irregularly; the nearest regularly served bus stop is Deutenbach-Mitte (line 63), about 2 km away. From here, it takes about 25 minutes to get to Nuremberg. On weekends, the Nightliner runs hourly at night. For families with children: Playmobil Fun Park is about a 10-minute drive through the villages, and Kristall-Palm-Beach is about 2.5 km away.

There are several inns, some with beer gardens, within a radius of 2 to 3 km, but unfortunately none directly in our village. Information about hiking trails and bike routes as well as about the village can be found at eckershof.net Shopping: Meat and egg vending machine on site, sometimes also fruit, pasta, jam. "Proper" shops are about 2.5 km away. As a rule, we only allocate the space to one guest. For dog owners, this means that their dog can run free (please note: there is only a dog fence for about 8 m of our property). There may be emergencies in which we take in additional guests. Please write to us if you are coming with a dog and the "free-running option" is very important to you. Utilities: Electricity and water are available. For guests staying longer than one night, we can arrange gray water and toilet disposal (only with green toilet chemicals) upon request.
