Naturhof Dörmte – a small campsite on a historic farm

On the eastern edge of the Lüneburg Heath, between Uelzen and Dannenberg, our campsite is located on the grounds of the historic, listed Naturhof Dörmte 21—a typical “beet castle” dating from 1903. These stately brick buildings were constructed during the sugar beet boom that shaped the region in the 19th century.

The campsite is situated in a large garden that borders directly on a small wooded area belonging to the property. There are only a few campsites, so the atmosphere here is personal and laid-back.

The site is suitable for travelers by bike, car, or RV, whether for a single night or longer stays.
