  A wonderful place with great people and animals! Such a great vibe! We’ll definitely be back. If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, want to watch the ponies, just want to do nothing, are looking for a quiet spot to read, or maybe want to go for a bike ride, this is the perfect place for you! It’s just a few minutes by bike to an egg farm with the biggest eggs I’ve ever seen 😂 There are beautiful bike paths leading to both Aurich and Wiesmoor. Overall, the natural surroundings are incredibly beautiful. We parked under some big trees by the riding arena and slept wonderfully 👌—we had to extend our stay by one night right away because it was so lovely! Communication was super easy! Highly recommended!

  I highly recommend staying with Svenja and Christian. After a very warm welcome from the hosts, I had some peace and quiet and was able to relax by the campfire that evening, just as I’d hoped. Firewood is available for a donation, and there are also bread-on-a-stick skewers and pots for making popcorn over the fire. :) Unfortunately, I had some bad luck because a village festival was taking place nearby, so loud music disrupted the quiet later on. The next morning, however, it was wonderfully quiet—you can’t hear anything except nature and, of course, the animals and the occasional farm work.

  We had a really great time and especially our children didn't want to leave. Everyone was really nice and the camping paddock is beautifully designed. Peace, nature, horses and country life + starry sky without light pollution ☆ We would love to come back ♡
