Wild camping right in the heart of the Münsterland!

Hello to everyone who’d like to set up their ROOF TENT (or other gear) out in the great outdoors.

If you’d like to try “WILD CAMPING” completely legally, I can offer you a 2,500-square-meter campsite on a beautiful meadow in the heart of the Münsterland region, surrounded by old oak trees and a hedge.

What do we have? ALMOST NOTHING!!!!

No electricity, no toilet, and no shower—but we do have a magnificent view into the distance and of the starry sky!

Start your day with ice-cold water from the 15-meter-deep well (not drinking water) using the hand-pump—you’ll need some muscle power here.

Hang your hammock between the tall oak trees and enjoy a nap in nature, or use the meadow for endless fun and games.

Round off the evening by the campfire with a nice drink and enjoy the great outdoors—with a little luck, a fox and a hare might say “GOOD NIGHT” to you, or you might see deer grazing right next door at dusk.

For cycling enthusiasts, the nearby Münsterland Bike Trail (from Coesfeld to Rheine) is perfect for a ride. We also have several loop trails that are ideal for hiking.

Please keep in mind that the nearest shopping options are about 5–6 km away—just bring everything you need with you!!!

The site is ALL YOURS, there’s always ONLY ONE BOOKING at a time so you can enjoy the peace and nature and forget about everyday life—making it perfect for SELF-SUFFICIENT CAMPERS.

And please leave the site free of trash and other debris so everyone gets a clean spot; everyone should also have a toilet on board!

P.S.: To EVERYONE who also enjoys camping in WINTER: OUR SITE is available to you ALL YEAR ROUND; however, during weeks of continuous rain, the site may unfortunately be flooded and impassable. Otherwise, you’re very welcome to visit in winter!!

If you’re a larger group arriving with multiple vehicles or camping units, please let us know.

  • The place is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature and very quiet. You have complete privacy and can really unwind. The fire pit is a real highlight! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

  • A great experience "just around the corner." Here, you can just leave everyday life behind. The fire pit is also great, and there are plenty of places to hang your hammock or set up your tarp.

  • We were very satisfied. There were designated spots for tents and campers. The fire pit is great. We had a clear view of the shooting stars at night from the hammock. There was little traffic, and it was very relaxing. The water pump is also a real plus for the campground.

  • Exactly as described—there’s nothing… and that’s exactly what makes it everything we’re looking for in a great place: space, peace, and privacy. What an incredibly lovely place this is! Simple and well-maintained, with a charming setting offering beautiful hiking trails and cute little villages nearby. So we ended up staying for two nights. Communication with Sacha was great and smooth. It was wonderful that we got to stay here—we’d love to come back sometime.

  • We had a great evening and will definitely be back.
