Sleep in the shade of a time-honored hawthorn, within walking distance of the Weser, which invites you to swim, on a quiet paddock, directly on the Weser cycle path and yet wonderfully quiet. For all those who want to enjoy a nice coffee and a homemade ice cream, there is an ice cream parlor about 1.5 km away in the beautiful ice garden and if there is a meal that is not home-cooked, there is a nice restaurant located at the old harbor of the village, which offers very good cuisine with regional products. Depending on the weather, campfires in the existing fire basket and barbecues are allowed and well-behaved dogs are welcome, as long as our horses, which stay there at intervals, are not harassed.
There is enough space to relax on approx. 150m2 of grass and with a bit of luck you can enjoy the singing of the nightingales late in the evening.

We spent a wonderful weekend with Birte and her three horses in the fenced-off section of the pasture. The place was easy to find, communication was great, and it was a pleasure getting to know her personally. Thank you again for the fire pit, including the wood, and for offering the bread roll service. Birte goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. The Weser River is maybe 100 meters down the dirt road, with a fantastic, large meadow. It was perfect for playing ball with the dog. The location is very quiet; we hardly saw anyone else. The horses were a true oasis of calm, and it was a pleasure to watch them from our tent at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand. We can wholeheartedly recommend this spot and will definitely be back.

Communication was very friendly and straightforward. The campsite was all to ourselves and quiet, though people out for a walk pass by from time to time. We would have liked a little more space, but it was sufficient for a small camper.
We're big fans of this spot. There's no other way to put it. Unfortunately, the tall grass was pretty prickly this time—since we camp "right on the ground," it had become noticeably uncomfortable in the bog 😅 But of course, we'd love to come back.
A beautiful, absolutely quiet spot that’s very easy to get to, in a completely secluded location. Very friendly and welcoming hosts—they even provided firewood and a fire pit. We’d love to come back!
Birte's place is beautifully secluded near the Weser River—perfect for peace and quiet and enjoying nature. The surroundings are ideal for long bike rides, after which you can wind down the day by the campfire.
