Our sleeping barrel, a special shelter with wooden shingles, is located on a meadow by the Elbe. Ideal for cyclists or water sports enthusiasts passing through. Sleeping bags are required, but not (or no longer) sleeping mats. Since 05/2025 there is a mattress for a restful night. You have the whole meadow and a great view of the Elbe to yourselves.

In a meadow
the Schaftonne stands on a constantly mown meadow directly on the banks of the Elbe on the site of the former Zehren shipyard. There is also a slipway and an ice cream parlor here. The WC is only a few meters away.
By a river/stream
My tip for early risers: enjoy the sunrise over the Elbe in good weather!
