From here you can go on wonderful day trips to the Ellerndorfer Heide, five kilometers away, or to the nearby Kronsbergheide in Amelinghausen. Nature lovers will find peace and quiet and magical nature experiences in the most beautiful valley of the Lüneburg Heath, the Lopau Valley, which is within easy reach of L üneburg, Uelzen and Hamburg.

In the beautiful surroundings of Wriedel/Brockhöfe, about 4 kilometers away, lies the large riding farm of the Niemann-Laue family, the "Landhaus Niemann" is an ideal place for rides and relaxing riding vacations, in the FN-recognized riding school there is a wide range of riding lessons on well-trained horses.
