Biological Oasis in the City of Palermo

Hello, I am a dedicated organic farmer. For the last ten years or so I have been cultivating some historic gardens in the city of Palermo that have been saved from the encroachment of concrete and that together with other friends we have painstakingly brought back to their former glory, located in the compendium of an ancient noble residence in the western part of the city of Palermo, in front of the municipal stadium.

I decided to join the initiative to welcome campers and caravans, to allow those traveling by such means to have a different experience and spend a few days at our urban gardens in Palermo, moreover saving on the costs of a normal camping. Just outside the gate are the terminus of several bus lines that allow one to go comfortably to the city center, or to the well-known seaside resort of Mondello, which is only a few kilometers away and therefore can be easily reached by bike. For the initiative I have equipped a small area for campers and caravans with toilets, shower with solar system, grill area and tables. The RV area is not large as I have no intention to disrupt the life of the gardens and become a campground, but only accommodate a few nature lovers. On the same site there is also an agricultural cooperative at which you can buy organic products at zero meters and close the circle of a 100 percent eco-sustainable initiative.
