  A perfect place for a soothing break in a lovingly designed natural garden. The exchange with the hosts was uncomplicated. I felt welcome, comfortable and appreciated. The forest botanical garden, a very special place, provides insights into the diversity of tree species on different continents There is still a lot to discover. I would love to come back.

  We had a very nice week at the camping of Felix and Karoline and their family. Their relaxed hospitality and swift communication show they have travelled a lot themselves. They’re open for a conversation, their English is very good, they show an interest and are easy to be around. Besides, they understand more than anything that you’re on a holiday and want to lay back and do your own thing. Felix and Karoline know the area well and can give good personal advice for activities. You can easily travel to Dresden from here, either by train/bike/car, and other places like Bad Schandau, Terezin and Prague are within reach. The small campsite is in a beautiful cottage-like garden with a view of the town. Only twenty meters from the campsite is the Forstbotanischer Garten, where you can spend your days hiking between century-old trees. Tharandt is a nice town where you can wander around and explore, for example a church, ruins of a castle or the local bakery. Check it out! Und viel Spaß!

  Super nice host, great pitch in a beautiful garden with a view over Tharandt. I hope we can enjoy staying here again soon.
