JohannaThe forest island is a raised meadow at the end of a village of 60 inhabitants. We mow the meadow regularly and two old trees provide shade. Next to the meadow, there is a small coniferous forest reserve that was planted by my ancestors.
From here you can watch wildlife, stars and sunsets behind the Rhinow mountains. The site promises pure tranquillity, the nearest neighbors and streetlights are a good distance away, all you can hear is birdsong and maybe the occasional cow.
There are many streams and canals for walking and fishing within walking distance. There are also many activities in the surrounding area, e.g. two bathing lakes and riding stables or the airplane in Stölln are 5-10 minutes away by car.
In rainy times, the forest island is almost completely surrounded by water, hence the name :)
There is only one pitch here, so you have it "private" for you, but if you want to come with several vehicles, there is enough space, just let us know. Check-in and check-out times are variable, if guests arrive before/after 2 pm.
Free cancellation up to 1 day (12:00 p.m.) before arrival.

Great place, totally quiet and ideal for our cats. We were following in the footsteps of Otto Lilien...
We had another couple of lovely days on Waldinsel. At this time of year you can already see and hear...
If you just want to be on your own and don't want to hear or see people, this is the place for you! ...
