DanielaOur small vacation home "Liten Lodjur" with lake view is located in the lake-rich area around Torestorp, surrounded by forest and fantastic nature
and yet with all the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation.
It is part of our farm, which is located 4 km outside Öxabäck in the middle of the forest. Liten Lodjur is self-sufficient with its own kitchen, bathroom (hot shower and dry toilet), a bedroom with double bed 140 cm x 200 cm, and 2-3 more sleeping places on the gallery, mattresses size 80 cm x 190 cm.
The price refers to 2 persons, for each additional person we charge 10,-€ per day per person.
You can heat with an infrared heater, so it will be cozy even on cool days in Liten Lodjur.
Our 8-hectare site has its own lake. You can hire canoes from us on the farm to paddle on one of the countless lakes in the immediate vicinity; canoes can be used free of charge on our own lake
From here you have unlimited possibilities for hiking, biking or swimming.
50 km away are the most beautiful beaches on the west coast with towns such as Varberg and Falkenberg.
The nearest airport Göteborg Landvetter is about 55 km away from us.
Rental from Friday to Friday
Sauna use 1 x per week free.
In addition to the final bill there are possible heating costs for the infrared heating.
Towels and bed linen can be booked for 12,- € per person.
For additional persons (the indicated price refers to 2 persons) the price of € 10,- per person will be paid on arrival.

You can drive right up to the hut to load and unload, after which your car is more or less around the corner.

220 volts, we produce most of the electricity we use ourselves with our solar system. The use of electricity is free of charge except for the use of the infrared heating, these costs are charged separately. ( 50 Cent per KWh )

Sweden has a very good cell phone network, although we are in the middle of the forest, good reception.

Waste disposal
You have to take your garbage away yourself, there are plenty of garbage containers for glass, paper and plastic, e.g. in Öxabäck. Otherwise, we have a compost bin for kitchen waste and if you are not sure, please ask us what you can put in the compost.
Sauna
Rustic wood-fired sauna by the lake free once a week, otherwise we charge €10 per person for additional sauna visits

We don't have a pool, but we do have our own lake

The playground is a great area with lots of trees to climb.

Even if there is no beach, there are various jetties on the lake that invite you to laze around.

Kayaking, canoeing
Your accommodation includes a canoe, which you can use free of charge at the local lake, and you can also hire a stand-up paddleboard for a fee.
Cycling
At the end of the 800 m long private access road is the "Sverigeleden", Sweden's longest cycle route at 2,620 km.
Watching wildlife
With a bit of luck, you might not only see deer and hares, but also a moose - we had sightings almost every day in the fall because of the apples.
