Former estate with meadow and brook near A7

You have to experience nature—and you can do just that here with us! 🌳

All you have to do is drive around to the back of our farm and park by the lush green meadow with its trees. 🌻

During the day, you can watch buzzards and kites circling above the meadow. In the evening, a stunning starry sky shines above you as you enjoy a cozy barbecue, sip a glass of wine, and wind down the day in relaxation.🌜

Next to the meadow is a quiet little stream that’s perfect for recharging your energy. Dip your feet in it, listen to the gentle murmur of the water, or marvel with your children at nature’s plants and wildlife. The stream is an adventure for dogs, too. 🐶

From our valley, all you have to do is cross our bridge to reach the mountainous region of northern Hesse—which we affectionately call “Wasiland.” From there, you can explore nature on a loop hiking trail. After about 500 meters, you’ll already see our village from a different perspective. After about 1,000 meters, you’ll have a panoramic view of the idyllic Knüll Mountains and the county seat of Homberg (Efze)—a view that’s truly one-of-a-kind. 🤩

On a 45-minute hike (about 3.2 km), you can stop for a bite to eat at a restaurant starting at 5 p.m. and enjoy the sun on a lounge chair at the edge of the forest on your way there or back. The view from there is magical ♡.

You can also go for a walk in our forests, feel the positive effects, and simply let your mind wander.

No matter which direction you head out from our farm, you’ll always find yourself back in nature—and back with us. 🌳

In the village, you can buy local products (eggs, honey, and ahle Wurscht). There’s also a playground for kids, a tennis court, and animals to discover in the little village.

You can reach the Knüll Wildlife Park on foot, by bike, or by car. There you can see bears, free-roaming deer, owls, wolves, and many other animals.

Just a few minutes away by car (in neighboring towns), you’ll find swimming lakes, outdoor pools, an indoor pool, a sauna, massage services, restaurants, a real medieval castle (Hohenburg Castle), playgrounds, a summer toboggan run, a climbing park, an indoor playground, mini-golf courses, ice cream shops, bakeries, museums, more hiking trails, stand-up paddleboarding, a climbing park, and much more. Just ask me for more excursion tips.

What makes this special is that you only have to drive 8 km from the A7 Knüllwald/Homberg (Efze) highway exit to reach us. 🤩

The location is ideal for overnight stays while passing through, and even better for nature lovers who want to relax in the countryside for a few days. Access is no problem, even for large vehicles.
