Your campsite is quiet and secluded, slightly elevated on a meadow under cherry trees behind a large century-old Wilhelminian-style farmhouse. You have an unobstructed view over extensively farmed meadows and bends, where sheep graze in spring and summer, and a small stream is just a few steps away. Our free-range flock of colorful chickens will certainly visit you, and our cats are also quite curious.
A tiny wooden house with a view houses the composting toilet and washing facilities.
Electricity is available at an outside socket under the tree, and I can bring you extra water in canisters from the main house at any time!
In bad weather there is a rustic/romantic lounge in the original Wilhelminian-style cowshed.
There is a really good snack bar in the center of the village and a swimming lake on the edge of the village just 100 meters away. For dogs there are exciting and beautiful walks in the woods and fields.

A wonderful, very idyllic place to camp! And very, very friendly hosts. We felt right at home.
The place feels like an insider tip that you don't want to give away... Fantastically beautiful nature, super nice hosts. Everything is wonderful and designed with attention to detail, we will definitely be back.
I went to Kasseesdorf with my daughter relatively spontaneously for an afternoon and a night. It was really great. The site is a real dream and perfect for our roof tent. Everything was lovingly prepared, flowers and fruit on the table, the toilet trailer was decorated with great attention to detail and the hosts were simply lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed using the barbecue and campfire site, and the view over the meadows was the icing on the cake. All in all, a perfect short vacation, thank you very much!
