About 3 years ago I bought my house here in the middle of the small village called Kukuk. It was a former restaurant called "Western Saloon" and relatively well known by Frank Rosin. As a result, there is also a large hall on my farm, which was used for parties and concerts, as well as sanitary facilities. Perfect for camping. The large hall offers optimal privacy and shade in summer. The facilities are completely in campsite style and separated by gender. In the hall there is a counter with a kitchen including a fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Dishes can also be washed here and of course you are welcome to stay here in bad weather, for example. Electricity also comes from the hall. Therefore, my guests are welcome to stand behind or to the side of the hall in my courtyard. There is usually free choice of pitch and I offer space for a maximum of 3 campers.
You can reach the first public bathing area within 5 minutes through the garden gate via a large play area. There are many more in the area. The water is very clean, but also fresh. The lake is ideal for stand-up paddling, fishing or, of course, simply swimming. The village is located in a nature reserve and the nearby forests and meadows are wonderful for hiking and walking.
In general, dogs and other pets are allowed on my farm. I just don't want them to bark at me all the time or even attack me. Also, many dogs are overwhelmed the first time with the rabbits living on the ground (in aviaries). They must then be kept on a lead. Apart from that, I generally hope that my guests are considerate, just as I am. I am not a campsite, but also live here. Please register in good time, as I cannot always be at home. Please do not arrive or move vehicles after 8 o'clock in the evening. Please refrain from loud music and drunken screaming in and around the sanitary facilities or at the campsite. We are in the middle of the village and I also have neighbors.
You can also make campfires here and hire various (water) sports equipment. (At the moment canoe for two, stand up paddle, bicycles, handcart, feather/table tennis ball etc.) I also have horses and riding is generally possible. Feel free to contact me for this.

My wooden gate is now quite old. I am happy to open and close it for you when I am there or I know who is coming or going and when. If you want to open it yourself, please do so with care and make sure it is secure when open, otherwise it will break even faster due to wind etc. It would also be desirable to close it properly afterwards. I ask my guests to respect the night and rest times. We are in the middle of the village and I myself go to bed early. From 8 o'clock in the evening, it would be nice if there were no more arrivals or if the vehicles were no longer moved around. And from 10 o'clock in the evening, I simply expect consideration. In return, I don't wake my guests up at 6 a.m. with noisy work.

We stayed with Marie with our three boys and had a wonderful time. We were warmly welcomed and shown around. We loved the lake and the direct access to the playground, which had so much space. We’ll definitely be back. Best regards, the Viebach family
The four of us—parents, two toddlers, and a dog—spent our vacation at Kukuk bei Marie. The location was really great, especially for the kids because the village playground was right next to the garden. The playground was very large and the kids had a lot of fun there. We were also lucky enough to have the place to ourselves during our stay. It probably would have been fine with two groups, especially given the limited bathroom facilities. The restrooms, however, were in need of renovation. Unfortunately, rain sometimes leaked in, and the water in the showers didn’t get very hot. The door to the men’s restroom was only half intact. For washing dishes, there was a dishwasher and a large sink in the barn, though it only had cold water. If you’re traveling with small children, it’s best to bring a baby bathtub, a child-sized toilet seat, and a larger electric kettle. We also thought it was a shame that there were no rabbits or horses on site. Camping at Marie’s definitely has potential, but some repairs and improvements still need to be made.
Super nice hostess , great area for extensive bike rides . Swimming lake within walking distance in a few minutes . Absolute peace and quiet on the site. Here you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life .
We really enjoyed our stay in Marie's quiet and idyllic garden. We had a really relaxing time. In our opinion, Marie pays a lot of attention to the privacy of her guests, but is still always available if needed and makes every effort to ensure the well-being of her guests. We would love to come back :)
