Welcome to the highest community in the Spessart. With its trails, the Spessart Forest offers many options for short or long hikes and bike tours and direct access to two well-known long-distance hiking trails: the Eselsweg and the Birkenhainer Straße.
The campsite or tent site is located on the grounds of our sports field directly next to the playground on the meadow or on a gravel parking lot as an option. There is also a shelter in the middle of the forest for a bivouac or hammock .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderfully peaceful spot in the Spessart! We had a fantastic and relaxing stay at the sports field in Heinrichsthal. Location & Surroundings: Beautifully situated in the Hochspessart, absolutely quiet and surrounded by nature. The perfect starting point for long hikes and dog walks right from the camper. Site: Plenty of open space, easy to access, and completely flat. At night, it’s wonderfully dark and wonderfully quiet. Experience: Super straightforward communication and booking through Hinterland. If you’re looking for nature, peace and quiet, and a simple getaway without the hustle and bustle of a campground, this is the perfect spot. We’d love to come back! 🚐🌲

A quiet campsite just outside a small village, located on the grounds of a sports club in the heart of the Hochspessart region. The check-in was straightforward and friendly. With access to the clubhouse’s shower and restroom, there are surprisingly good facilities available. I stayed there for a long weekend and would love to come back. Great access to the hiking and biking trails.
In the middle of the countryside, good connection to the highway - nice contact! We would love to come back!
