*The pitch was redesigned in 2024 and can be booked again from spring. From then on also with electricity 🤗 and gravel on the pitches*

New pictures will come in spring.

I only have some from last year during the renovation period.

On the site of an old sawmill in the small hamlet of Ehwiesmühle, you can spend a quiet night away from the noise of the road. However, if the cows make the neighboring meadow unsafe again, you have to reckon with the sound of cowbells 😊. The property is located near the A7 between two woods at the back of a cul-de-sac.

When you cross the bridge in front of the former Ehwiesmühle inn, there is a wooden gate directly to the right. This gate is the entrance to the property.

There is a sign on the gate with the inscription "Schlichting" "Übernacht am rauschenden Bach". The address you get from "Hinterland" is not the address of the property. The property is a little further ahead.

The two small streams that flow through the property offer a fresh cooling whenever you want. A small stream has been specially created so that children can play there without hesitation, as the larger one is too dangerous for children to play in. On the other hand, it's great for adults to take a dip and cool off. It sometimes has more and sometimes less water, but it is always cold and refreshing. Another new feature is an old bathtub, which can be filled with spring water and is also suitable for playing with water or washing yourself.

You can set off from there in all directions and start beautiful walks, cycling or mountain bike tours. However, it is important that you have very little to no reception there. You should make everything available offline beforehand 😉 or follow the many signposts.

However, there is also something very liberating about being out and about without reception 😋

Because at night when the sun has set, you have an incomparable view of the starry sky, it's so beautifully dark back there ✨ You can safely leave your cell phone in your pocket.

You are welcome to use the fire pit for barbecuing. It's best to bring your own charcoal. Firewood is available for an extra charge on request.

If you would like to do some shopping, you can do so in the village store in Wolfertschwenden or in various stores in Bad Grönenbach. We recommend a pizza from Pizzeria La Pineta opposite Bad Grönenbach train station. But you have to pick it up yourself 🤗

Free cancellation up to 1 day (12:00 p.m.) before arrival.

The two small streams that flow through the property offer a great opportunity to play in the water, especially on hot days, but be careful, the larger stream has a current and there is still the old mill at the end of the property. Always supervise children. A second stream has been created especially for children. See photos.
