Communication before our arrival was good at first. We had announced our arrival for around 7:00 p.m. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the small campsite was almost completely occupied by a large tent standing right in the middle of the site. Despite ringing the doorbell several times and making multiple phone calls, we were unable to reach the owner. After a lot of maneuvering (our 7.5-meter trailer), we finally found the last few square meters of open space between a cherry tree and some bushes. Although we had requested electricity, the power connection was turned off. I ended up using the pool’s power outlet so that at least our refrigerator could run. Unfortunately, the restroom facilities made a very poor impression. They were clearly showing their age: tiles had fallen off the walls, there were cracks in the walls, and the paint was peeling off the ceiling. Cleanliness also left much to be desired—among other things, empty toilet paper rolls were lying around everywhere. After the tour, we therefore didn’t use the showers, especially since there’s an additional charge of €5 per person for them. The entrance area to the restrooms looked like a former restaurant and was cluttered with trash and junk, which also didn’t leave a good impression. On the day of departure, the landlord’s car was parked in the driveway in such a way that we couldn’t leave the property. Only after ringing the doorbell and calling several times did she open the door, move her car, and go back inside without saying much. Overall, this was a very unusual and disappointing overnight stay for us, and we would not book it again. Especially considering the price of €26 per night, €5 for electricity, and €5 per person for the shower, we don’t think the value for money is there at all.

A wonderful garden with a magnificent view, next to the chicken coop, an old pub building that serves as a lounge and restroom, and the main house. Very relaxed and friendly. We sat comfortably around the campfire; we received the firewood in exchange for a small donation. A wonderful area to explore.

We really liked the site itself and enjoyed the great view. The sanitary facilities were very basic but okay. Unfortunately, the site was completely overcrowded. The site is designated with a maximum of 2 pitches. However, there were two other families of four there, so only one toilet and one washing facility were completely inadequate. We had chosen the pitch with our friends because according to the announcement there were only two pitches available. The double occupancy made quite an impression on the overall impression.
