Each additional person aged 2 years and older, as well as each dog, costs an additional €3 per night, payable on site. When booking, please let us know how many people will be staying and what type of vehicle you will be arriving in. During the summer months, you are welcome to use the outdoor solar shower to freshen up. There are no other showers available for campers to use in the house. Electricity is available for €2 per night. We can also provide fresh water, as well as a washing area with well water. In 2023, we will also have built a toilet with washing facilities for our guests (accessible 24 hours a day). There is a lot to experience and "learn" on our farm. We have many chickens that can be fed, but also many tame quails that you are welcome to pet and feed. You can also expect a visit from a very cuddly farm cat who wants to be petted by you. There is plenty of entertainment for children, such as a ground-level trampoline, a climbing frame, a swing set, a table tennis table, and two campfire sites. If conditions allow, campfire wood can be purchased for a small fee and you are welcome to use the new stainless steel swing grill (since 2024). Depending on availability, there are also mountain go-karts (various sizes) including a double-seat trailer. The official village playground, which was only inaugurated in spring 2023, is located about 450 meters away. We can now also offer a brand new vacation apartment for up to 5 people. For details, please contact us directly using the contact function. Under the cherry tree, you can sit comfortably even on hot days or romp around on the hanging games. You are welcome to use the tables and chairs provided. If the weather is not as good as you would like, the hut offers a 30 m² retreat. Inside, you will also find an oven, microwave, and hotplates for your use. If you like, you can also see for yourself how eggs from happy chickens and quails taste. You can get these, along with snacks and drinks (including regional beer), in and around the refrigerator in the hut. The beautiful and quietly located Schabringen am Silbersee is situated on the southern edge of the Swabian Alb and is part of the municipality of Wittislingen in the district of Dillingen an der Donau. Geographically, Schabringen is perfectly located between the major cities of Stuttgart, Munich, Augsburg, Ulm, and Nuremberg. The nearest highway connections, Zusmarshausen (A8), Günzburg, or Giengen Brenz (A7), are only 20-25 km away, and Legoland Germany can be reached in 30 minutes by car.

Our farm offers enough space for various recreational vehicles, but please send us a message with your reservation stating the type of vehicle and, in the case of motorhomes/caravans, the length, so that we can ensure a suitable space.

Arrival is between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and departure is by 12:00 p.m. If you will be arriving later than 9:00 p.m., please let us know, as this is usually possible. A late departure until 6:00 p.m. is available for a fee, subject to consultation and availability. Upon arrival, you will also receive an information sheet with everything you need to know, including recommendations for excursions.

The Steidle farm shop is located about 1 km away and also operates a 24/7 sales container, so that your physical well-being is always taken care of. Supermarkets are located about 2 km away.

Those who like a little more adventure can take a refreshing dip in the Egau river at the property's own access point. The Danube-Härtsfeld cycle path runs right in front of the property, and there is a very popular rest stop on the Egau river with a natural Kneipp facility. And if you're looking for something even bigger, you can also visit the Silbersee lake, which is about 1 km away.

Other excursion destinations in the surrounding area, apart from Legoland with small children, include the Steiff Museum in Giengen (approx. 20 km), the highest church tower in the world in Ulm (approx. 60 km), to name but a few...more information is available on the info sheet upon arrival.

We have excellent cell phone reception: Telekom and Vodafone up to 200 Mbit/s and O2 also over 20 Mbit/s. We are passionate campers ourselves and therefore know what our guests imagine to be the perfect place and will do our best to make your stay unforgettable.

We can also accommodate dogs (there is a dog walking path directly behind the house), but dogs must be kept on a leash due to the farm cats.
