Welcome to our pitch in the beautiful Fichtelgebirge near the Fichtelsee and the WeiĂenstĂ€dter See!
Kornbach is a small village a few kilometers from the A9, exit Gefrees. Our property is on the edge of the village and the forest begins just behind it. (Directions in the photos!)
There is space for a caravan or mobile home on our meadow. Ideal for people who want to enjoy nature away from the hustle and bustle and be on their own.
The campfire site can be used by prior arrangement, except in very dry weather (risk of forest fire). A barbecue and a pizza oven are available on the property next door and can be used by prior arrangement. We do not offer sanitary facilities.
There are signposted hiking trails just behind the pitch, which are also easy to ride on a mountain bike or trekking bike.
Excursion destinations within a radius of 15 kilometers are the WeiĂenstĂ€dter See (thermal bath, wellness, pedal boats, swimming), the Ochsenkopf (climbing garden, cable car, summer toboggan run), the Waldstein (castle ruins, viewing platform), Schneeberg, Egerquelle, Saalequelle and many more.
The Kornbachtal inn in the village is highly recommended. It serves steaks and burgers from Galloway cattle. The shaggy four-legged animals graze on the breeder's meadow right next to the beer garden. (closed Mon + Tue)

A beautiful little campsite surrounded by greeneryâto us, this place felt just like a little BullerbĂŒ.đż We stopped here for one night while passing through, but we would have stayed longer. The campsite is idyllically located on the edge of the forest, surrounded by nature and tranquility. The small, lovingly designed playground right outside our door was especially niceâour daughter loved it. The host was very friendly. Everything was laid-back, exactly what you want after a long drive. A small, special place with great attention to detail. Weâd love to come back!
A really beautiful and peaceful spot on a large, well-maintained meadow right on the edge of the forest. Very friendly hosts. Getting electricity for a small fee and topping off our water supply with a watering can were no problem at all. There was even a small play tower, a nest swing, and a zip line for the kids to use on-site. We stopped here for one night with the kids while passing through and would definitely love to come back.

We stayed with Brigitte & Peter for a few days and had a really wonderful time! Weâre currently traveling with a little (crawling) baby, and this place is perfect for that! The forest is right behind the house, the meadow is gorgeous and spacious, with a little hut for eating. And we were even able to use the swing. Weâll definitely be back when weâre in the area :)
We really enjoyed it. A beautiful spot on the edge of the forest on a very soft meadowâquiet, shady, and wonderfully secluded, yet very easy to get to (we were just passing through and came from the A9). Weâd love to come back!
A truly unique campsite: a completely quiet, secluded spot surrounded by nature at the edge of the forest, with a level, paved meadow surface and a very spacious area, seating and play areas, and an electrical hookup.
