Our town of Scharrel has about 750 residents. The Tannenbruchsee lake is located about 1 km away in the Metel district. The bakeries in Neustadt am Rübenberge provide fresh bread rolls. Our property is surrounded by nature and located outside the town center. It’s ideal for walks with or without a dog, or for cyclists. There are several blueberry farms nearby for those who’d like to pick their own. Not far away is the Steinhuder Meer, where you can enjoy various recreational activities. The meadow has space for 3 RVs or trailers. Roof tents are also allowed.
!!!If you’re traveling via the A7, please do not drive through the forest. Google Maps indicates it’s a busy road, but that’s not the case. This route is not suitable for RVs or trailers. !!!!

A spontaneous trip, a really beautiful, quiet location, and great places to walk the dogs 💚
Since it was so nice, we decided to stay a little longer.
A very beautiful spot surrounded by nature, with sweeping views of meadows and fields. Exactly the kind of place we like. We really appreciated the directions, because when you’re towing a caravan, you definitely don’t want to end up on the wrong GPS route. Thanks to the tips, we arrived feeling completely relaxed. Our hosts are very friendly, and we’ll definitely be back.
