  Very nice property and garden 🙂 Very well-maintained 🙂 It was absolutely fine that we couldn’t have a fire—understandable given how dry it was. Personally, we just would have preferred it if the grill had been at the campsite rather than in the “private” garden. Thanks for the tip about the restaurant 👍🏻

  What a lovely relaxing weekend with a really wonderful view and many excursion destinations to castles in the surrounding area. We were warmly welcomed with our 2 dogs and were able to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our 5 year old Labbi girl enjoyed playing ball games on the large meadow and our 17.5 year old senior with dementia was able to stretch his legs without getting lost - simply wonderful 😊 ...   Schau ins Frankenland" really is in the "hinterland". The village is very manageable. But it is very quiet. Neither workshops nor neighbors are a nuisance. The hosts keep discreetly in the background but are always approachable and very obliging. The site is very well maintained and offers space for several guest campers, whether with a motorhome, caravan or tent. However, we were on our own during our four-day stay, which of course really emphasized the peace and quiet. The various hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of the pitch were great fun for our dog and also helped us to relax. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. Jana and Martin
