Hi...welcome to the middle of nowhere!
We offer 3 campsites on our farm on the edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District, in a small village. You’ll be parked in an idyllic spot in our small orchard, shaded by old trees. Here, you can unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet, and leave your everyday life behind. Grab your bikes and enjoy the beautiful, expansive Mecklenburg countryside. There are at least three swimming lakes to explore in the immediate area (about 10 to 15 minutes by bike). A local bakery and butcher are about 20 minutes away by bike, and there are also a few fishermen in the area. We’ve set up a fire pit for you—from here, you can enjoy the sunset.
You’ll find your own heated shower, toilet, sink, etc., inside the house across the courtyard. Water, electricity, firewood, and charcoal are available upon request. A nice rotisserie grill is also available for your use. Due to our pets, please no dogs—not even cute ones on a leash. It’s only 10 minutes to the A19 highway (Güstrow exit) and 45 minutes to the Rostock ferry. A supermarket, gas station, and restaurant (serving home-style cooking) are about 5 kilometers away; more options are available in Teterow and Güstrow, where you’ll find a wildlife park offering fantastic wolf hikes and much more. The village has a small playground with a zip line.

We had a wonderful four days among the plum and apple trees; we had fresh eggs for breakfast and everything we needed for the grill and a campfire. Conny and Thomas are attentive and laid-back hosts—we’d love to come back. Thank you so much for everything ☀️
It was a truly wonderful little getaway for us. It’s also perfect for families with kids. The bathroom was very clean. Everything was set up with such care. And for breakfast, we even got to enjoy everything the orchard had to offer.😊 Thank you so much!
Unfortunately, due to family issues, we weren't able to go through with our camping stay with Cornelia and Thomas, but communication was absolutely wonderful, so 5 stars here! We hope to have another opportunity in the future!

Hello. Cornelia and Thomas give you a very warm welcome—it’s just like visiting friends. The campground and the restroom facilities are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. As first-time campers, we received very kind, spontaneous help—more than we even needed. Our daughter got to help put the chickens and geese to bed.😁All in all, you feel right at home. We’ll definitely stop by again sometime.
