Hello...welcome to the middle of nowhere! We offer three parking spaces on our farm on the edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District, in a small village. You will be parked idyllically in our small orchard in the shade of old trees. Here you can relax, enjoy the peace and quiet, and leave everyday life behind. Grab your bikes and enjoy the beautiful, expansive landscape of Mecklenburg. There are at least three swimming lakes to explore in the surrounding area (approx. 10 to 15 minutes by bike). A country bakery and butcher are approx. 20 minutes away by bike, as are a few fishermen. We have prepared a fire pit for you, from where you can enjoy the sunset. You will find your own shower, toilet, sink, etc. in the house across the courtyard. Water, electricity, firewood, and charcoal are available on request. A nice swing grill is also at your disposal. Due to our pets, please no dogs, even cute ones, and no dogs on a leash. It is only 10 minutes to the A19 motorway exit Güstrow and 45 minutes to the Rostock ferry. There is a supermarket, gas station, and restaurant (good home cooking) about 5 kilometers away, and more in Teterow and Güstrow, where you will find a wildlife park that offers great wolf walks and much more. There is a small playground with a rope slide in the village.

We were able to pitch our tent right in the middle of a large garden and really enjoyed the peaceful night, despite a brief thunderstorm. Conny and Thomas were very kind and took great care of us. We'd love to come back!
A really lovely place with super-friendly hosts. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to meet in person, but I’m sure we’ll get the chance next time. It’s so nice that everything is taken care of. Even if the charcoal is missing or the shower gel runs out, everything is there. That’s what turns even the most beautiful adventure into a memorable experience. A great bathroom area, lovingly decorated. Everything is super clean. I could write so much more, but I’d rather save it for next time. 🙂
Even though they were on vacation themselves, they communicated as warmly and friendly as if they had been there in person! We found that very impressive. The description “Somewhere in the middle of nowhere” is spot on. However, the lakes in the surrounding area are well worth a bike ride or hike. The garden is beautifully designed with little lights and a blooming meadow. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy, with great attention to detail. I think it’s worth noting that small bottles of shower gel and feminine hygiene products were available on-site! If you want to completely unwind without a lot of activity, it’s a great place to stay. 😊
Our stay—which, unfortunately, was too short—with the very friendly and welcoming hosts Conny and Thomas is perfect for campers seeking peace and quiet. The campsite is located on a meadow with trees, so you have the choice between sunny and shady spots. The restrooms were very clean. You can buy cold drinks on-site. There’s a place to swim and paddle about a kilometer away. I can wholeheartedly recommend this spot. In any case, it won’t be my last time there.
