At my vacation farm, situated in an idyllic, secluded location in Holstein Switzerland, surrounded by restored natural areas and just 8 km from the Baltic Sea beach, campers aged 18 and older are always welcome.
The farm is the ideal starting point for hikes or bike rides.
Guests enjoy the peace and quiet of the natural surroundings, so a maximum of 2 adults (adults only) plus one dog are permitted per campsite.
To help us plan better, please specify the type and size of your mobile accommodation when you make your booking request.
Please let us know your approximate arrival time on the day of arrival.
Pitches 1 and 2 are not accessible by vehicle during heavy rain. Pitches 3 and 4 are located on the paved and landscaped courtyard area. These are also suitable for larger motorhomes.
For cyclists with tents, there is always space available in the spacious garden or on the meadow.
In the summer of 2026, Holsteiner horses and a foal will graze in the pastures.
Around the farm, 27 biotopes, ditches, and numerous woodlands have been created, attracting frogs, toads, cranes, birds of prey, and other wildlife.

It is a former farm without animals (except for 2 farm cats). Horses and Galloway cattle graze in the adjacent fields.

Farm vacation
The former farm is no longer in operation. During the summer, Holsteiner mares and their foals graze in the paddocks. The land surrounding the farm has been restored to its natural state by the Nature Conservation Foundation.
Cycling
The fine sandy Sehlendorfer Strand, 8 km away, is easy to reach by bike. The farm is located in the middle of Holstein Switzerland, a paradise for cyclists.

If you need some peace and quiet, if you want to feel comfortable, and if you can also enjoy a great bathroom and kitchen, then Torsten's place is the right choice for you. Simply lovely. Our dogs were welcome, too. It was a real treat.

We just stayed for the night on our way to the south, but we really enjoyed our stay here. We were impressed by all the birds that found a shelter around the property. It was some time ago that we've heard so many bees and bumblebees. Thank you for restoring these lands Torsten!
We started our vacation at Thorsten’s and felt very comfortable there. It’s a place surrounded by nature, with a view of the open landscape and the best “horse TV” ;) Communication with Thorsten was easy and friendly. A perfect place to unwind, watch animals, and a great starting point for bike rides.
We’ve been to this gorgeous spot several times with our camper—with a view of the rolling hills of Schleswig-Holstein, the Baltic Sea practically right around the corner, and a horse pasture right in front of us. We’ve never lacked for anything. Unfortunately, we had a breakdown this time and couldn’t stay overnight. But our host, Torsten, quickly hooked us up to power so we could get back on the road—and even checked in afterward to make sure we’d made it home safely. We’d love to make up for that missed night. Hats off to you, Torsten! 🎩 We’ve never encountered such a thoughtful host on Hinterland before. Highly recommended—both the site AND the person behind it!
If you're looking for peace and quiet and beautiful nature, Torsten's place is the perfect choice. Everything was clean and tidy. Torsten was always available and had great tips for day trips in the area. We'll definitely be back.
