Farm vacation
Full of anticipation for a tiny house with a hot tub, pool and sauna, we set off on our well-deserved vacation to Wendisch Baggendorf. When we arrived and were warmly welcomed by Elisa, we were accompanied to our accommodation. Well, what can I say, we looked a little sparse - not a tiny house, but a garden hut that wasn't really finished in every nook and cranny. A simple padlock was used to lock the garden hut, the doors couldn't be locked properly and you almost had the door handles in your hand, the bed had a sagging mattress and the adjustable headboard was defective and couldn't be adjusted, there was no cupboard in which we could store our things, as all the utensils from the landlords were there, no possibility of ventilation - there was only a window in the bathroom, no HOT WATER in the bathroom - only a camping shower, defective tiles and a very wobbly fitting in the bathroom, no grouted tiles in the kitchen, there were still the tile crosses to be found, dirty fridge, no suitable plugs in the kitchen for washing up - washing up was then only possible in a small bowl, smelly drain, garden chair with defective armrest, totally wobbly parasol, broken broom, the hot tub was not really clean - so not usable - and the end boards were all loose (risk of injury), the solar shower was very shaky - but could be used to cool off in the warm temperatures, the pool was permanently out of order for the guests - it was probably tilted and was reprocessed over the entire period. We did not visit the spa area as it was far too warm for a sauna. Fortunately, we were offered the shower in the vacation apartment on the farm, which we were able to use every day. Unfortunately, the cottage wasn't really painted either, sometimes a little here, sometimes a little there - all in all a nice idea, but the implementation of the project "renting out a tiny house" was anything but good. The landlords should really consider whether all the defects should be rectified before going into the rental business. Unfortunately, this price is not acceptable either, as it is in no way justified. The animals were happy about a good portion of fresh fruit and vegetables every day. All in all, a real letdown from the accommodation - fortunately it was summer for a week and we were able to be out and about all day exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside, visiting the Baltic Sea, going on bike rides etc. Can't imagine if it had rained the whole time.
Very nice owners and a relaxed atmosphere. You have peace and quiet and are not too far from the coast. Unfortunately we didn't meet anyone to say goodbye!
Were there on New Year's Eve 23/24 and is not recommended. The comment before me has already described the rest.
We had a few days of wonderful peace and comfort. Elisa is a very obliging and friendly hostess and everything was as described. Absolutely recommendable.
