Camping Spot for 6 m² Igloo Tent, Schlüchtern Bikepacker

Set up your own igloo tent (the area is suitable for a tent measuring approximately 2.5 m x 2.5 m) in our wildly romantic garden

and enjoy the sweeping view of the green river valley and the little village of Herolz.

Here you’ll experience beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

With a little luck, you might spot deer, storks, or herons along the banks of the Kinzig River, or hear the cuckoo, the nightingale, or our blackbird, which (no joke!) mimics a bicycle bell.

Upon request, you can rent additional bedding, air mattresses, sleeping bags, blankets, or pillows for a cleaning fee of 5€ per item.

Upon request, we’ll run an extension cord all the way to your tent, but you can also charge your cell phones or power banks inside the house at any time.

In our private kitchen, you can use dishes and cutlery, cook, and keep your food cold in the refrigerator.

In the guest bathroom, you’ll find all toiletries, towels, toothbrushes, insect repellent, sunscreen, a hair dryer, hot water bottles, and much more.

Please be aware that the bathroom will also be used by other guests during your stay.

However, we clean the shower and toilet daily with disinfectant spray, which is also available for your use.

Otherwise, simply enjoy the panoramic view of the river valley and the little village of Herolz from one of the many seating areas in our 2,000 m² garden.

You’re welcome to grill in our fire pit area and build a campfire in the fire bowl.

Dogs are welcome on the property.

Unfortunately, your furry friend must stay on a leash and is not allowed inside the house, as the property isn’t fenced in and we have a red tomcat.

For a small fee, we’ll let you use our washing machine and dryer.

Unfortunately, we can only accept bookings for a maximum of 5 nights. Depending on the situation and after getting to know you in person, we might be happy to accommodate longer stays.

Bike packers and hikers will find this a great starting or ending point for excursions, bike tours, or hikes in the Rhön, the Spessart, and the Vogelsberg.

In addition to the 15-minute walk to Schlüchtern’s old town, the surrounding area offers a bike path to the fairy-tale town of Steinau and the tranquil Sinntal valley, as well as plenty of hiking trails.
