Our small farm is located on a hill in the middle of the Swabian forest. All around there are only orchards, hills and fields. You can enjoy the peace and be all to yourself.
You want to do something? The Swabian Forest offers a wide range of activities for recreation seekers and active visitors. Hiking, biking, mountain biking on trails or golfing are just a few leisure activities.
Families and children don't miss out either - there are exciting offers for them as well, from nature discovery trails to interactive museums and amusement parks.
Close by are the Hörschbach waterfalls and the Carl Schweizer Museum. In addition, there are sights such as the UNESCO World Heritage Limes, historic mills and the steam train of the Swabian Forest Railway on its historic route.

I spent the night from Friday to Saturday at Carmen’s farm with her family as part of a bikepacking trip. From the booking to the welcome, everything was warm and wonderful. This certainly won’t be my only visit to the region. The place is beautifully situated atop a hill. The short, steep climb just before reaching the destination was more than worth it. A gorgeous spot with a great view. I got to experience a magnificent starry night here, as well as a fantastic sunset and sunrise. I can’t recommend the hospitality and atmosphere highly enough. An e-bike charging station, restroom, drinking water—everything you could need was there. Such lovely people and a great spot :) See you next time, and warm regards from Zimmern ob Rottweil—Micha
At the end of the world! What a beautiful place. Carmen gives us a warm welcome, takes us on a tour of the farm right away, and provides us with fresh eggs. We city folks can’t get enough of the silence. From the outhouse, we watch the sheep—or are they watching us? 🤭 Don’t forget to wash your hands. There’s a small hand pump right there for that. Everything fits perfectly. It’s more than enough. Close to nature and eco-friendly! If you want more than that, you shouldn’t be coming to places like this. After a wonderful night, delicious scrambled eggs in the morning, and a very pleasant chat with Carmen’s husband, we drove on. We wholeheartedly recommend this spot and wish the two of them continued success with their projects.
