JensOur cottage is a forest spa (Shinrin-Yoku) and is located in Germany's smallest (and most beautiful) low mountain range in the middle of the forest.
In our forest cottage you can enjoy the peace and quiet in three separate vacation apartments.
In the 'Igelstübchen' there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed for six people. In the living room you can sleep individually on a sofa bed and a mattress bed. But there it becomes then quite narrow. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a sink. The toilet is extra. Ideal for nature-loving groups and families.
It is only 15 minutes walk to the picturesque climatic health resort Jonsdorf. There we have the butterfly house, the ice rink in winter, in summer the indoor playground, the outdoor pool with mountain water and a mini golf course .Also a small gondola pond provides variety.
With the Bimmelbahn (narrow-gauge railroad) you can reach the medieval castle Oybin, just nearby near Großschönau: Trixipark with spa, swimming pools and bathing lake. The interesting millstone quarries, hiking trails and climbing rocks invite you to exercise in nature.
In winter, when there is snow, you can enjoy winter sports on the cross-country skiing trails and the downhill slope on the Lausche, the highest mountain in Germany (Ostelbig). In addition, the Lausche, a former volcano, offers in good weather beautiful views as far as the Jeschken and Jizera Mountains.
In the neighboring communities of Oybin (Hain) and Lückendorf, the mountains Töpfer and Hochwald are waiting for you.
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival. Or within 48 hours of booking, up to one day before arrival.
