Our cottage is a forest bathing resort (Shinrin-Yoku) and is located in Germany's smallest (and most beautiful) low mountain range in the middle of the forest.

In our forest cottage you can enjoy the peace and quiet in three separate apartments.

In the "Squirrel's Nest" there is a bedroom with a bunk bed for six people, a single bed and in the living room you can sleep individually on a sofa bed. There is room for nine people, but it is cramped. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a washbasin. The toilet is separate.

Ideal for nature-loving groups and families.

It is only a 15-minute walk to the picturesque climatic health resort of Jonsdorf. There we have the butterfly house, the ice rink in winter, the indoor playground in summer, the outdoor pool with mountain water and a miniature golf course. There is also a small gondola pond for a change of paceFrom the accommodation you can hike to the Nonnenfelsen via the Zeißigsteine, the Mühlsteinbrüche, the Rabensteine and the Falkenstein.

The narrow-gauge railroad takes you to the medieval Oybin Castle, just a short distance from Großschönau: Trixipark with spa, swimming pools and bathing lake. Hiking trails and climbing rocks invite you to exercise in nature.

In winter, when there is snow, you can enjoy winter sports on cross-country ski trails and the downhill slope on the Lausche, Germany's highest mountain (ostelbig). The Lausche, a former volcano, also offers wonderful views as far as the Jeschken and Jizera Mountains in good weather.

In the neighboring communities of Oybin (Hain) and Lückendorf, the Töpfer and Hochwald mountains await you.
