The former pheasantry, later a forestry lodge, has been renovated with great attention to detail and now invites nature-loving guests to stay in its vacation accommodation. With its simple but cozy furnishings and the rustic, rustic flair of the building, Das wilde Auwaldhaus exudes a cozy atmosphere and yet helps you to regulate your own demands again.

A 5000 square meter fenced-in natural property with a stream, pond, tepees, play areas and retreats allows young and old alike to immerse themselves in the tranquillity of the forest.

The wild Auwaldhaus is a ground-floor building divided into three separate vacation apartments. It can comfortably accommodate a good 20 people and is therefore ideal for larger families, groups or shared vacation stays.

Each apartment in the wild Auwaldhaus has a terrace that invites you to enjoy the tranquillity of the forest. There are also several covered outdoor seating areas, which make it pleasant to spend time outdoors even when it rains. The cozy living areas invite you to immerse yourself in the relaxing atmosphere of the house.

The "Squirrel's Nest" vacation apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing break. A spacious living area with access to the terrace, a bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed, a simple kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. The tiled stove and fireplace provide cozy warmth and a relaxed atmosphere.

The wild alluvial forest house is surrounded by the beauty of the "Zittauer Gebirge" nature park, in the border triangle of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. The surrounding region is particularly diverse and invites you to discover it. Jonsdorf - an idyllic spa town with an extensive park, forest stage, butterfly house, mountain bath and picturesque gondola pond - is just a 20-minute walk through the forest. The surrounding hiking trails lead to the gypsy parlors, nuns' rocks, millstone quarries and the imaginative stone zoo. Oybin, with its mystical castle and monastery complex, is also easy to reach - by the historic Zittau narrow-gauge railroad or on foot over the Jonsberg. The Lausche, at 793 m the highest mountain in the region, can be reached from the house in around 1.5 hours and offers magnificent views as far as the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Other highlights include the striking Töpfer with its rock gate, the Gratzer caves, the Große Felsengasse and the Hochwald forest with its viewing tower - perfect destinations for unforgettable nature experiences. Culturally, a trip to the beautiful baroque town of Zittau with its fasting cloths, medieval old town and green city parks is well worthwhile. Nearby Großschönau is also a delight with its traditional half-timbered houses, exciting museums and the family-friendly Trixi Park - including a spa, forest beach pool and sauna & wellness area. Right next door, the adventure climbing forest provides thrills and unforgettable experiences.
