SilkeWhere the Swabian Alb is at its highest, lies the Zollernalb. Here we make our forest available.
The approach is via a gravel road, so the site is most suitable for off-road vehicles, bullis or small motorhomes.
(Please have your own camping toilet and waste water tank).
Diagonally opposite a well splashes. (No drinking water)
"In the forest you HEAR the silence". From time to time a fox, a rabbit, a deer or even a wild boar looks after the right.
A grill place is available. Wood may also be collected in the forest. (A saw is available).
The place is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours or MTB tours.
A few kilometers away is a reservoir, which invites you to swim or SUP-paddle.
In the neighboring village begins a fruit nature trail. Along the path are many partly very old fruit tree varieties. The explanations/history of them can be found on information signs.
Breakfast is possible in the center of the village in the "corner store". There you can also buy provisions for the stay/the onward journey. There is also a Lidl/Penny/Edeka nearby.
If you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can visit the local restaurants. They offer good home cooking. Basically, you should ask about the opening hours, because it is not open every day.
The next largest town is about 10 km away. It invites you to stroll and store.
Worthwhile is also a visit to the castle Hohenzollern. The ancestral castle of German emperors. It is located at a distance of about 20 km.
A day trip is also possible, for example, to Lake Constance. It is about an hour's drive away.
One last thing:
The stay on the property is at your own risk. We assume no liability for damages of any kind. Parents are liable for their children.
Free cancellation up to 10 days before arrival. Or within 48 hours of booking, up to one day before arrival.
